How to install the Bebe Confort Pebble car seat in the car?

The seat must be installed rear-facing on a rear seat or front passenger seat (airbag deactivated). Use the 3-point seatbelt following the blue markings. The buckle must remain straight under the harness hook. See pages 8-9 of the manual.

Can I use the Pebble on the front passenger seat?

Yes, but only if the passenger airbag is deactivated. The seat must be placed rear-facing, with the 3-point belt.

How to care for the Pebble cover?

The cover, cushions, and harness pads are machine washable at 30°C. Always use an original cover, as it is part of the safety system. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Is the Pebble car seat compatible with Bebe Confort strollers?

Yes, the Pebble can be attached to Bebe Confort chassis using the FamilyFix or EasyBase 2 adapters. A push button allows it to be released from the stroller.

What is the maximum weight for using the Pebble?

The Pebble is intended for children from birth up to 13 kg (approximately 12-15 months). Do not use it beyond that.

Can I use the Pebble on an airplane?

Yes, only on a forward-facing seat, with a 2-point belt. The seat must be secured according to the airline's instructions.

How to adjust the Pebble harness?

The 5-point harness can be adjusted in height according to the child's size. The straps should pass at or below shoulder height (rear-facing). The gap between the harness and the child must not exceed 1 cm (one finger width).

What to do if in doubt about the seat installation?

Does the Pebble have a warranty?

Yes, a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, valid for the first owner. It covers manufacturing defects, but not normal wear. Keep the receipt.

Can I use the Pebble as a baby seat outside the car?

No, the Pebble is a car seat exclusively designed for car travel. Do not use it as a baby seat or on elevated surfaces (table, chair) to avoid fall risks.

General Bébé Confort Pebble instructions

1. You are personally responsible for the safety of your baby at all times.
2. Never hold your baby on your lap when driving.

3. Do not use the Bébé Confort Pebble for more than 5 years.

4. Do not use second-hand products where the history is unknown.

5. Replace the Bebe Confort Pebble after an accident.
6. Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it in the storage compartment in the Bebe Confort Pebble.

Warning: Do not make any changes to the Bébé Confort Pebble whatsoever, as this could affect the performance of the car seat and render it unsafe.

Warning: Do not use this car seat as a bouncer seat.

Bébe Confort Pebble maintenance instructions

1. The cover, cushions and belt pads of the Bebe Confort Pebble can be removed in order for these to be cleaned. They can be machine-washed. The flexible plastic edge can be cleaned with water, soap and a soft cloth.
2. If the cover needs to be replaced at any time, only use official Bébé Confort fabrics.
3. The Bebe Comfort Pebble must undergo regular maintenance. Do not use lubricants or aggressive cleaning agents.

The Bébé Confort Pebble and your baby

1. Never leave your baby unattended.

2. Always secure your baby with the harness belt.

3. Before every use, make sure the harness is not damaged or twisted.

4. Make sure you can fit no more than one finger between the harness and your baby (1cm).
5. Only use the headrest of the Bebe Confort Pebble when the shoulder belts are in the lowest position.

Warning: Never place the Bebe Confort Pebble on an elevated surface (such as a table or chair).

Bébé Confort Pebble car use

1. Always check to make sure the car seat can be installed properly in your car before purchasing it.
2. Make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into position.
3. Prevent the Bebe Confort Pebble from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slamming doors.
4. Make sure that all luggage and other loose objects are secure.
5. The safest place for your baby is the rear of your vehicle, however if you need to install the seat in the front passenger seat, please ensure that any airbag is deactivated.
6. Only use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with a 3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE R16 standard (at a minimum).

7. Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a straight line and stays below the belt hook of the Bebe Confort Pebble. See the p.8 example.

8. The car safety belt must be threaded along all blue markings. For proper installation instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker on the side of the Bebe Confort Pebble.

9. Always cover the Bebe Confort Pebble when exposed to direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal and plastic parts could become too hot for your child's skin.

Warning: The Bébé Confort Pebble may only be installed in a rear-facing position in the car.

Bébé Confort Pebble in aeroplanes

• Installing the Bebe Confort Pebble with a 2-point safety belt is only allowed when used in an aircraft.
• In an aircraft, the Bebé Confort Pebble may only be used on forward-facing passenger seats.

Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.

For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation.

Warranty

We guarantee that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of purchase. During the production process the product was subjected to various quality checks. If this product, despite our efforts, shows a material/manufacturing fault within the warranty period of 24 months, (with normal use as described in the user instructions) we will comply with the warranty terms and conditions. The warranty is not valid in the following cases:

• In case of a use or purpose other than described in the manual.
  If the product is submitted for repair through a dealer that is not authorized by us.
• If the product is not supplied to the manufacturer with the original purchase receipt (via the retailer and/or importer).

• If repairs were carried out by third parties or a dealer that is not authorized by us.

• If the defect is the result of improper or careless use or maintenance, negligence or impact damage to the fabric cover and/or frame.

• If the parts show normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use of a product (wheels, rotating and moving parts etc.)

Date of effect:

The warranty becomes effective on the date the product is purchased.

Warranty term:

The warranty period applies for a period of 24 consecutive months. The warranty only applies for the first owner and is not transferable.

What to do in case of defects:

After purchasing the product, keep the purchase receipt. The date of purchase must be clearly visible on the receipt. Should problems or defects arise please contact your retailer. Exchanging or taking back the product cannot be requested. Repairs do not give entitlement to extension of the warranty. Products that are returned directly to the manufacturer are not eligible for warranty.

This Warranty Clause conforms to European Directive 99/44/EG of 25 M
