How to install the heater on feet?

For use on feet, clip the feet on each side of the unit as described in the diagram. Check correct assembly before use.

How to fix the heater to the wall?

Mark the screw locations about 1 meter from the floor, space them 15.8 cm apart. Drill, insert wall plugs, screw the wall bracket, then place the unit on the bracket by clipping the notches.

What does the ECO indicator mean?

The ECO indicator lights up when the MICA plate reaches 60°C. The heater reduces its power by one third to save energy while continuing to radiate accumulated heat.

What is the safety distance?

Keep a minimum distance of 1 meter from flammable objects (curtains, textiles). For water (bathtub, shower), keep at least 60 cm.

Can I use this heater in the bathroom?

Yes, the unit is certified IP24 and class I, usable in bathroom volume 2 (more than 60 cm from the edge of bathtub/shower, height < 3m).

How to clean the unit?

Before any cleaning, ensure the unit is off, unplugged and cooled down. Use a dry cloth to dust; do not use solvents or abrasive products.

What to do if the heater does not heat?

Check that the unit is plugged in and the switch is in position I. If the thermostat is set too low, turn it to maximum. If the problem persists, contact an approved repairer; do not open the unit.

What is the power of this heater?

Depending on the model, the nominal power is 1000 W, 1500 W or 2000 W. In ECO mode, it is respectively 660 W, 1000 W or 1330 W.

How to activate frost protection mode?

Turn the thermostat to the frost pictogram (frost protection position). The heater then maintains a temperature above 5°C to prevent freezing.

Does the heater turn off and on by itself?

Yes, the thermostat cuts the power when the ambient temperature reaches the set value, then turns on again automatically to maintain the set point.

• Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage. If not, see your retailer and do not connect the appliance.

DESCRIPTION

• This new type of heater uses MICATHERMIC heating element which is the leading heating technology.
• Nowadays energy saving is very important for our earth, and the ECO system is tailor-made for this concept. (see details on « operating instruction part »)
• This appliance can be used in bathroom (degrees of protection IP 24 or Class I (volume 2)).

INSTALLATION

On the floor:

Fix the two caster frames (6) at each side of the heater as shown in the following diagram.
- Chek the caster frames installation before using.

On the wall :

• Mark first screw hole on the wall (about one meter from floor).
• Drill first hole, then insert first screw anchor (12) into the first hole with a hammer.
• Put mounting support (10) on the wall and tighten lightly the first screw (11).
• Mark second screw hole on the wall by raising the support in parallel to the floor. (at about 158mm )
• Drill second screw into the second hole and then insert the screw anchor (12).
• Tighten both screws.
  Fix the feet cover (13)
• Place the mounting holes of the support (9) at level of screws. Then the appliance is fixed.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Insert the plug into the socket. The red indicator (4) lights up.
• Turn the power switch (1) to « I » position, then adjust the thermostat (3) until its red indicator (1) lights up.
• The red lighting indicator (1) will turn off as the room reaches the desired temperature which has been set on the thermostat (3).
• If the room temperature falls, the heater will turn on again and release heat until the room temperature rises to the desired temperature.
• According to personal needs, temperature can be increased or decreased with the thermostat.
• Anti-frost function keep the surrounding temperature above « Freezing Point ». To do this turn the thermostat until the « snowflake » mark.
• ECO Green position: when the heater is switched on, the ECO Green indicator (2) is off. If the MICA element reaches 60^ircC then the appliance switches into ECO function, ECO Green indicator is on, one third of the power is cut off for energy saving and the heater gives back the accumulated heat. If the MICA element temperature comes down to 54^ircC , the heater switches back to full power.

• In case of overheat, a safety device know as « Thermal cut-off » has been installed within the heater.

MAINTENANCE

• Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, switch off and unplug the appliance. Ensure it is perfectly cooled.
• To remove the dust, wipe your appliance with a cloth.
• Never use abrasives or detergents.

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods of disposal. The materials are recyclable as mentioned in its marking.
