BT204 SweeX Bluetooth 2.0 Class II Micro Adapter USB

• Do not expose the Bluetooth 2.0 Class II Micro Adapter USB to extreme temperatures. Do not place the device in direct sun light or close to heating elements.
• Do not use the Bluetooth 2.0 Class II Micro Adapter USB in extremely dusty or moist environments.
• Prevent hard shocks or impacts of the device, as this can cause damage to the internal electronics.
• Never try to open the device yourself, this voids the warranty.

Installation

No drivers are needed to use the Bluetooth adapter. If you want to use the advanced functions you will have to install the supplied software. To install the software, place the Sweex CD-ROM in the CD-ROM player of your computer. The CD-ROM will start automatically. Choose "Software".

Follow all steps to fully run the installation of the software. After the installation, connect the Bluetooth 2.0 Class II Micro Adapter USB to your computer.

To start the software you can use the shortcut on your desktop.

Connecting to the Bluetooth device.

1. Press the orange sun in the window to search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
2. Select your device, right click it, and choose "Pair Device".
3. Enter a 4-digit code to secure the connection. It can be 0000. Press "OK" and enter the same code in your Bluetooth device.

1. A red check mark appears at the connected device. Right click again and choose "Refresh Services".

1. The available services for this Bluetooth device are marked with yellow.

1. When you press the "Bluetooth File Transfer Service" a window appears where you can exchange files with your Bluetooth device.

2-year standard warranty within the EU

• In a standard manner a warranty period of 2 years as from the purchase date is available for this Sweex product within the EU.

10-year manufacturer's warranty

• However, in addition to the statutory 2-year standard warranty Sweex offers you an extended quality warranty of no less than 10 years, if you purchased your product within the EU.

Matters that are excluded from the warranty

• The warranty of Sweex only covers manufacturing defects. Excluded from the warranty are accessories like batteries, rechargeable batteries and also supplied software, where applicable.
• The liability of Sweex is limited to the costs of repair and/or replacement of the product covered by the warranty.
• Both warranty types (the 2-year standard warranty and the 10-year extended manufacturer's warranty) are null and void if the product has been opened, changes have been made, physical damage was caused to the product and if the product is used for another purpose than for which it is originally meant.
