Supporting documents

Further information on how to operate the CombiNeo can be found in the corresponding operating instructions. Further information on the vehicle can be found in the vehicle manufacturer's operating instructions.

The user must familiarise themselves with the vehicle's water system and how to operate the CombiNeo before the descaling process.

Carrying out the descaling process

  • The CombiNeo must be descaled once a year or when a prompt to do so appears on the control panel.
  • While it is possible to skip the descaling prompt on the control panel when it appears, the water heating function will be blocked if it is skipped several times. Space heating will still be available if this is the case.
  • Descaling must be started and carried out via the control panel.
  • It cannot be interrupted and resumed at a later time. If an error occurs during the descaling process or the process cannot be completed, the warning message is not reset and the process must be restarted from the beginning.
  • The water heating block is cancelled automatically as soon as a descaling process (via the menu navigation) has been completed.

The entire descaling process takes about three hours. It consists of several steps, which are outlined below:

• Empty the CombiNeo and fresh water system
• Pour in descaling solution
- Carry out part 1 of the descaling programme
• Exchange the descaling solution
- Carry out part 2 of the descaling programme
- Empty and rinse the CombiNeo and fresh water system.

1 Preparations

Required utensils

  • Commercially available citric acid-based descaling agent from camping specialists for producing 20 litres of descaling solution

  • Ensure access to fresh water.
  • Ensure that a drain is available for grey water and used descaling solution.
