Safety instructions The Paper Trimmer is not a toy. Incorrect operation of the appliance could lead to serious physical injures, especially of deep cut wounds. After use do not leave the Twin paper cutter with the cutting edge exposedl NEVER use the appliance without the blade guard and NEVER cut from the right-hand side of the Twin paper cutter! DO NOT touch the cutting edgel Children may only be in close vicinity to or use the Twin paper cutter when under supervision! This appliance is not intended for use by indivi- duals (including children) with restricted physi- cal, physio-logical or intellectual abilities or defi- ciences in experience and/or knowledge unless hey are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Should the ineriness of the standard trimmer be- come such that the cutting blade falls back to its start position by itself, tighten the screw at the pivot point of the standard trimmer (SW 14). Do not attempt to trim more than the given paper volumes (for other materials or thicker paper and cardboard, only 1 piece first, as a test). No liability will be accepted for personal injuries resulting from improper usage. This Paper Trimmer is intended for the cutting of paper and transparencies. High durability and clean cuts are to be achieved exclusively through proper handling of the appliance and the use of suitable materials. Preparation +_ Remove all packaging material from the appliance. + Pull the transport protector from the guillotine @ and push the handle on to the blade. Utilisation Use of the rotary trimmer

1. Slide the rotary trimmer @ downwards.

2. Position the document under the trimming

3. Use the adjustable stop @ and the black mar-

kings on the measurement template © to align the document exactly.

4. Press the document onto the measurement

template © and draw the rotary trimmer @ to the top Use of the standard trimmer À Caution: The standard trimmer @ is very sharp. Risk of personal injury . Position the document under the blade guard @ and press it down firmly, such that the document cannot move whilst being trimmed.

2. Use the adijustable stop @ and the blue

markings on the measurement template ® to align the document exactly.

3. Press the standard trimmer @ downwards.

Securing and transportation To protect the Paper Trimmer both from improper use and during transportation, the standard trimmer is fited with a securing device.

1. Press the standard trimmer @ down completely.

2. Slide the adjustable stop @ completely to the

right and against the handle. The standard trimmer is now secured for transportation. The rotary trimmer does not need to be fixed down as it is secured by the trimming rail @. Disposal Disposing of the appliance Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis-posal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre. Disposal of packaging RS Dispose of the packaging materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
