Frequently Asked Questions - ULX-SOCL L Ulsonix

How to correctly assemble the hose system?
To assemble the hose system, first connect the short water hoses with the Y and T connectors (fig. 1a, 1b, 1c). Then connect the hose set to the brush, then the angle adapter. Pass the water hose through the telescopic tube and finally connect the long water hose with a suitable fitting to the water supply.
What is the maximum allowed water pressure?
The maximum water inlet pressure for this device is 5.9 bar. Never exceed this pressure, as it could damage the device and cause injury.
How to adjust the lever clamping force?
To increase the clamping force, turn the lever screw clockwise. To reduce it, turn it in the opposite direction. The adjustment allows the fastening to be adapted to the thickness of the surfaces.
What to do in case of a leak at the hose connections?
In case of a leak at the hose connections (locations marked 'A' in figure 7a), try to push the hose ends deeper into the connections. Also, make sure the angle adapter is properly tightened.
How to extend or retract the telescopic brush?
To adjust the length of the telescopic tube, open the clamping lever (fig. 5c), set the desired length, then close the lever to lock the length. The lever must be firmly operated to avoid any slipping.
What is the weight of the device and its maximum reach?
The weight of the device (model ULX-SOCL L) is 3.2 kg. The telescopic brush has a maximum extension of 7.2 m and a minimum extension of 1.78 m, allowing you to reach elevated surfaces.
Can I use this device with hot water?
The manual does not specify the water temperature. To be safe, use only cold or lukewarm water (max. 40 °C). Water that is too hot could damage the hoses and plastic seals.
How to maintain the device after use?
After each use, check for leaks and carefully dry the wet parts. Store the product in a well-ventilated and dry place, away from heat sources and fire.
Is the device suitable for cleaning high windows?
Yes, thanks to its telescopic bar that extends up to 7.2 m, it is designed for cleaning elevated glass surfaces, such as windows, conservatories, or solar panels.
What to do if my device is damaged or no longer works?
If you have any doubt about the proper functioning or if the device is damaged, contact the manufacturer's after-sales service. It is forbidden to repair the device yourself; only repair by an approved professional is recommended.
