• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the removable power supply included with the device, with reference SW-050100EU.
• WARNING: remove the charger cable

before cleaning the device and hold it tightly so it does not fall into water.

• This appliance has irreplaceable batteries.
• If the charger is damaged, it must be replaced with a new original one to avoid any danger.
• The charge and storage temperature of the product must be between 5 °C and 35 °C.

• Do not use the product if it is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped in any liquid.

Battery instructions

• The appliance includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
• The battery may leak under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water

for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Before a new battery is used or the battery is used for the first time after long-term storage, fully charge the battery.
• When the device is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.
• Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft

tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.

2. BEFORE USE

• This device is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
  Before using the device for the first time (cordless use), or after a long period of inactivity, charge it for a minimum of 1.5 hrs.

3. OPERATION

Warning:

• Use the device only on dry hair.
• Maximum charge: 90 minutes.
• Full charge: display shows "60".

• Charging: it shows the battery minutes and "Min". Battery will be shown in 5 min intervals: 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 MIN.

• During operation, it will show the battery power and will count down in 5-minute intervals.

• Lock operation: hold down the button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the device.
• The device has an overcharge protection function.

Using the guide-comb for the hair trimmer

• The length of the cut may vary depending on the trimming angle.
• Start with the longest comb setting (16 mm) and progressively shorten the cutting length as the hair is cut.
• Place the 1-16 mm guide-comb. For that purpose, insert the guide-comb accessory into the slots on the sides of the device, as shown in figure 2.
• Press the comb release button on the back to insert or release the guide-comb attachment. Fig. 3

Changing the hair clipper heads

Warning

• To remove the installed head, use your thumbs to push the head back and off the device.
• To assemble a new head, align it with the device rear part and press downwards on the head top part until it clicks into place. You will hear a click when it is properly fixed.

Choosing the head

Choose the head that best suits the desired haircut or the area where hair is going to be cut.

Trimmer head

• Thoroughly comb your hair.
• Select a suitable guide-comb attachment (1-2-4-6-8-10-12-14-16 mm) that best fits the hair trimmer head.
• Begin the haircut with the hair trimmer head on the neck or the sides and cut towards the middle of the head. Then cut from the front part of the hair towards the middle of the head.
• Hold the hair trimmer so that the guide-comb attachment is flat on the head. Then run it evenly through your hair.
• If possible, trim the hair against the direction of growth.
• To ensure that you trim all hairs, run the hair trimmer over the same area of hair several times.
• If the guide-comb attachment is not mounted, use the hair trimmer only with the hair trimmer attachment for a very short cut.
• Comb your hair thoroughly again and again.

Beard trimming head

• Use the 3-4-5-6 mm guide-comb over the beard trimmer if necessary.
• Comb your beard towards the direction of the hair growth.
• Cut your beard upside down, from ears to chin. First trim a side and then the other.
• Use the beard trimming head without the guide-comb to trim a very short beard, moustache or outline. The trimmer's sharp edge must be placed in a right angle to the beard.
• Move the guide-comb to select the desired cutting length setting. The selected setting must be at the height of the arrow/mark.
• Place the guide comb with the rounded side upwards against the beard and from below, cut upwards against the direction of hair growth.
• To trim the moustache, comb it upside down first. Then, you can use both the beard trimmer head and the precision trimmer head. Start in the centre, over the mouth; cut one side and then the other.

Precision trimming head

• Use the precision trimming head to trim and outline the moustache or sideburns.
• Place the edge of the head to the desired height on the hair and move the device upside down.

Body groomer head

• With the body groomer head you can shave the chest area, underarms and other delicate areas.
• Attach the body groomer head in its place until you hear a "click".
• Place the machine perpendicular to the skin and move it carefully on the skin, in the opposite direction to that of the hair growth.

Nose/ear trimming head

• Slowly run the metal tip of the nose/ear hair trimmer attachment into a nostril or ear.
• Slowly move the hair trimmer up and down to cut the hair.
• Do not insert the head more than 6mm.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning, servicing it, or assembling or disassembling any of its parts.
• Do not use compressed air, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads to clean the device.
• Clean the shaver and the attachments with the cleaning brush after each use.
• Both the product and the attachments are waterproof; therefore, they can be washed with water if necessary. Dry them thoroughly before storing or using them again.
• Do not wind the cord around the device to store it.
