USER MANUAL Bamba Facecare Smooth CECOTEC
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or any other part is damaged.
- Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation - WARNING: keep the appliance dry.
- PRECAUTION: do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other water containers.
- The parts must be fixed in such a way that they do not fall into the water.
- This device must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there is visible damage or the device has been used improperly, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- Switch off the device immediately in the event of defects or malfunctions.
- Do not use attachments or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec.
- Never leave the device unattended during use.
- Keep the device away from heat sources.
- Do not use outdoors or operate it near flammable substances such as sprays.
- Do not place the device directly on any non-heatproof surfaces while plugged in or in operation.
- Do not try to open, disassemble, or repair the device by yourself. There are no serviceable parts inside the device.

- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Battery instructions
- Keep batteries away from children and animals, they could be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance immediately. - Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of
10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Avoid contact between the batteries and small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
- The supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
- Make sure the battery contacts in the device are clean before inserting batteries; if they are not, clean them.
- Use only the battery type specified in the technical specifications.
- Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not use different types of batteries or of different capacities.
- The battery must be inserted paying attention to polarity. When replacing batteries, note the correct polarity (+/-).
- Take the batteries out of the device when they are discharged or when the device is not going to be used for a long time.
- This device requires 1 x 1.5 V battery, AA type.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the Official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
B. OPERATION

Remove the protective cover and turn the battery compartment cover to align the position indicator with the on position to switch on the device (Fig. 2).

Place the blade on the skin at a 90° angle, move it slowly and gently against the direction of hair growth. Do not press the blade too hard against your skin to avoid irritation.

Prevent the device from clogging by cleaning and removing excess hair periodically.

When you have finished using the device, turn the battery compartment cover to align the position indicator with the off position to switch off the device (Fig. 3).
Battery installation or replacement (Fig. 4)
- Open the battery compartment.
- Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Always check the polarity of the batteries.
- Put the battery compartment cover back in place.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before starting to clean the appliance, make sure that it is switched off. Remove the head from the main body by turning and gently pulling it off (Fig. 5).
- Remove the hair from the head with the cleaning brush and then clean t under running water.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance after every use.
- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
- Do not use towels, paper towels or wire sponges to clean the rotating head.
- Allow the head to dry before reassembly.
- To replace the head, align the tabs on the head and the body of the appliance and rotate the head until you hear a "click".
- Regularly check that the device is in good condition, paying particular attention to moving parts.
- If you are not going to use the appliance for a long period of time, remove the battery and store the appliance in its box.
Blade lubrication
- Rinsing the rotating head under water requires lubricating it at least once per month.
- Use only light-grade oils, as these will not evaporate nor slow down the speed of the cutting blades.
- Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent, as these too will evaporate quickly.
