General Safety Instructions

• Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
• Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type.
  Use only original spare parts.
  Pay careful attention to the following "Special Safety Instructions".

Introduction

The deep fryer is equipped with an adjustable thermostat, so that the temperature can be adapted to the food being fried.

The optimal and safe use of the deep fryer requires that the use instructions be read carefully.

Connection

The fryer must be connected to a properly installed 230V,50Hz socket with earth- hing protection.

Putting into use

Before using for the first time

1. Remove the packaging. Take the lid off the deep fryer. The frying basket is in the deep fryer.
2. It is highly recommended to clean the lid, casing, container and frying basket as described in CLEANING.

Useful hints for use

1. Always remove the food remaining in the oil (e.g. pieces of French fries). Change the oil after using it 8-10 times.
2. Use high quality frying oil or frying grease. Do not use margarine, olive oil or butter: they are not fit for frying, because they start to smoke already at low temperatures.
3. Choose the right frying temperature and check the conditions of the food to be fried. A rule of thumb is that pre-fried foods require a higher temperature than raw foods.
4. Do not carry or move the deep fryer if the oil or grease is still hot.
5. When frying dough-like foods scrape off the excess dough and put the pieces carefully into the oil.
6. Do not overfill the frying basket.
7. Rub dry humid foods with a cloth before frying.
8. After use, unplug the deep fryer.
9. Should the deep fryer be accidentally switched on without any oil or grease in it, the overheating protection switches on automatically. The appliance is no longer ready to be used. Unplug the deep fryer.
10. Once the appliance has cooled down completely, press the "Restart" button inside the cable compartment to activate the deep fryer.

Use

1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off.
2. Take the lid off the deep fryer.
3. Remove the frying basket and fill the container with oil or grease (maximum 3 l). The filling level must be located between the minimum and the maximum level. Put the lid back on.
4. Insert the plug into a 230V, 50Hz socket with earthing protection and switch on the deep fryer. The red LED lights up. Set the thermostat (2) by turning it to the desired temperature.
5. When the set temperature is reached the LED is switched off.
6. Take the lid off and put the frying basket with the food to be fried carefully into the hot oil.
7. Now lower the frying basket into the hot frying oil.

1. It is possible that the LED goes on and off several times while frying. This is normal and it indicates that the temperature is controlled by the thermostat and is being maintained. At the end of the frying time (the frying time is specified on the package of the food or in the recipe) open carefully the lid (Warning! Hot steam may be released!). Remove the frying basket.
2. Let the oil drip from the food being fried.
3. Switch off the appliance and pull the plug out of the socket.

Cleaning

1. Make sure that the plug is pulled out.
2. Wait until the deep fryer is completely cool before cleaning. Wait in any case for 1 to 2 hours after use before using again to avoid burns.
3. Unlock the frying oil container by pulling up and out the operating component (1). Pour out the oil.
4. Avoid using abrasive materials or sharp objects. These may damage the deep fryer!!

This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements. Subject to technical changes without prior notice!

Guarantee

We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of the date of purchase (cash receipt).

Within the guarantee period we rectify faults to the machine free of charge which result from material or manufacturing faults, either by repairing the machine or, or our discretion, by replacement. Any such repair or replacement associated with the guarantee shall not cause the guarantee period to be extended, nor be deemed to be the start of a new guarantee period!

Proof for the warranty is provided by the purchase document. The replacement and repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase.

Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.

Defects to the accessories do not entitle to the change of the appliance. These will be replaced free of charge. In this case do not send back the appliance. Just order the faulty accessory! Broken glass parts are replaced at the expense of the owner!

Neither defects to consumables and wearing parts (e.g. motor pistons, kneading hooks, drive belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, saw blades, etc.) nor the cleaning, maintenance or change of wearing parts fall under this warranty and hence are subject to payment of costs!

The warranty is terminated in case of handling on the part of Third parties.

After the warranty

Once the warranty has expired, repairs can be carried out by specialized technicians or repair services against the payment of the service.
