Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product's rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Ensure that the cord is fully unwound from the cord wrap before using the mixer.
- Keep fingers, hair, clothing and utensils away from moving parts.
- Do not expose or immerse the cable, plug, electrical elements, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop, and prevent it from touching hot surfaces.

The use of accessories or parts not provided or recommended by Cecotec may result in fire, electric shock or injuries to people and to the product.

Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.

- Care must be taken when the bowl is emptied and during cleaning.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move during use.

2. Before use
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.
3. Operation
Preparing for use
- Press the tilting arm release button (10) and raise the tilting arm (11). Place the mixing bowl (8) onto the mixer stand (13). Fig. 2
- Place the mixing plate (9) onto the mixer stand (13) as shown in Figure 3.
- Insert the dough hooks (7) or mixing beaters (6) into the hand mixer head (1) as shown in Figure 4.
- Check that the dough hooks (7) or mixing beaters (6) have locked into the correct position. Fig. 5.
- Lower and press the hand mixer head (1) onto the tilting arm (11) until it locks properly as shown in Figure 6.
- Lower and press the hand mixer head (1) onto the tilting arm (11) again until it locks. Fig. 7
Note:
Attachments can only be removed when the speed knob (2) is set to "0".
Operation
- Press the tilting arm release button (10) and raise the tilting arm (11).
- Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl (8) and then position the mixing bowl (8) onto the mixer stand (13).
- With one hand, press the tilting arm release button (10) and, with the other, push down the tilting arm (11) with the hand mixer head (1).
- Connect the appliance to a mains socket.
- Slide the speed knob (2) to reach the desired speed. Align the dot on the side of the speed knob (2) with the corresponding speed dot on the hand mixer head (1).
- As the mixture thickens, increase the speed using the speed knob (2).
☐ If the appliance begins to slow down or struggles to turn, increase the speed using the speed knob (2). -
Press the Turbo button (3) to make the motor operate at maximum speed while the Turbo button (3) is held down.

When the mixture reaches the desired consistency, return the speed knob (2) to the "0" off position and raise the hand mixer head (1) with the tilting arm (11).
It may be necessary to scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing bowl (8) periodically to assist mixing. -
To remove the attachments, ensure that the speed knob (2) is in the "0" off position and unplug the mixer. Hold the attachment shafts and press the head release button (4) to release the mixing beaters (6) or dough hooks (7).
Tips
- When preparing cake mixtures, use butter or margarine at room temperature or softened before use.
- For best results with small quantities, use the mixer without the stand.
- Thick mixtures and large quantities may require longer beating times.
- If you wish to mix larger quantities or heavier mixtures, remove the hand mixer
head from the stand and use a suitably sized bowl.
- For kneading bread dough, remove the mixer from the stand and use by hand.
Notes:
- These are recommendations for using the appliance. If you use the mixer by hand, the speed may depend on the size of the bowl (if not using the one supplied), the quantities, the ingredients, and your personal preference.
- Gradually increase to the recommended speeds indicated below.

4. Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning
Switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains supply and always remove the mixing beaters or dough hooks.
Do not use abrasive products on any parts.
Mixer head and stand
Clean both parts with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry them.
Do not immerse in water or allow the cable or plug to get wet.
Removable parts
Wash by hand and dry thoroughly.
They may also be washed in a dishwasher by placing them on the top rack.
Do not place them on the bottom rack or in direct contact with a heating element.
A short programme at low temperature (max. 50^ C) is recommended.
Stainless steel bowl
Do not use wire brushes, steel wool or bleach.
To remove limescale deposits, use vinegar and rinse thoroughly.
Keep away from heat sources (hobs, ovens, microwaves).
5. Troubleshooting
Problem:
The mixer stops during operation.
Solution:
- If for any reason the power supply is interrupted and the appliance stops, set the speed knob to the "0" off position.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Select the desired speed again. The mixer should resume operation immediately.
