How to correctly install the Cecotec Bolero Dresscode Dry 10505 dryer?
Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface indoors. Ensure the air inlets at the back are not obstructed. Plug it into a grounded 220-240 V outlet. Leave at least 5 cm of space on each side for ventilation.
What drying programs are available?
It offers several programs: Cotton (intensive or normal), Synthetics, Wool, Delicate, Steam, Anti-crease, Quick dry (30 min), and a specific Dryer program for mixed loads.
How to clean the lint filter?
Open the lower door, remove the filter, remove lint by hand or with a vacuum cleaner, rinse with clean water if necessary, then dry and put it back. Do this after every cycle.
What to do if the dryer does not start?
Check that the door is properly closed, the water tank is not full, the filter is clean, and the program is selected. If the problem persists, unplug for 5 minutes then plug back in.
Does the self-cleaning condenser require maintenance?
The Clean Care system automatically cleans the condenser each cycle, but it is recommended to check and manually clean the condenser every 3 months using a soft brush.
What is the maximum drying capacity?
The maximum capacity is 10 kg for cotton. For synthetics, reduce to 5 kg and for wool to about 2 kg.
Can I use damp laundry directly after washing?
Yes, first spin the laundry in the washing machine (minimum 1000 rpm). The dryer accepts damp laundry, but insufficient spinning will lengthen drying time.
The appliance is very noisy, what to do?
Check that the appliance is level, the feet are adjusted, and the transport bolts have been removed. The normal noise level is 65 dB, a loud noise may indicate an object in the drum.
How to activate the child lock?

Where can I find spare parts or after-sales service?
Contact Cecotec customer service at the number indicated in the manual or via the official website. Parts such as the filter, belt, or heating element are available. The reparability index of 8.1/10 makes repair easier.

4. LAUNDRY PREPARATION

Practical tips on drying clothes

  1. Spin the laundry well in the washing machine before putting it in the dryer. A higher spinning speed shortens the drying cycle time and reduces energy consumption.
  2. For uniform drying, sort the laundry according to the type of fabric and select a suitable drying programme.
  3. Close zips, fasten brackets and hooks, fasten buttons on shirts, tie fabric belts, etc.
  4. Remove all objects from pockets, such as coins, keys, lighters, etc.
  5. Sew or remove the underwires from bras.
  6. Close the covers of blankets and pillows to prevent smaller items of clothing from getting rolled up inside them.
  7. Do not over-dry clothes, as this will cause more creases to form.
  8. Do not tumble dry garments with elastic bands or similar elastic materials.
  9. Keep the area where the dryer is located clean. Accumulation of dust and dirt can clog the ventilation grilles and cause an explosion.
  10. When the drying cycle is finished, open the loading door fully to let the steam out. Be careful not to burn yourself with the drum.
  11. Clean the lint filter and empty the condensation water tank after each drying cycle. A dirty filter will increase drying time and energy consumption.
  12. Check if the garments are suitable for tumble drying. To do so, refer to the care labels on the garment:
