-
Carefully rotate the fan assembly until the canopy ball slot fits over the tab on the mounting bracket assembly.
- Loosen (do not remove) the two mounting bracket screws. Slide the canopy up to the mounting bracket and position the «keyhole» opening of the canopy over the bracket screw. Then rotate the canopy until it locks into the narrow part of the opening.
- Align the canopy holes with the mounting bracket and secure with the two sets of screws until tight.
NOTE: When installing the fan on a sloped ceiling, ensure that the hanging bracket tab faces towards the high side of the slope. Depending on the slope angle, a longer downrod may be required to prevent the blades from striking the ceiling.
WARNING: If the tab is not properly seated in the slot, electrical wiring may be damaged and there may be risk of electric shock or fire.

Connect the cable terminals from the motor assembly to the corresponding LED bulb connector.
- Install the light kit to the fan motor assembly by tightening 3 screws.
- Carefully attempt to feed the electrical wiring back into the motor assembly.
- Place the inner lampshade inside the outer lampshade.
- Screw the lampshade to the light kit.
WARNING: Ensure that all connections, set screws and screws are firmly tightened before the next step.
4. OPERATION
Code learning and pairing mode instructions
The remote control buttons function as follows (Figure 9):
- Power / Pairing button
- Fan speed
- Light ON/OFF
- Sleep timer
- Comfortable breeze
- Fan ON/OFF
- Forward / reverse rotation
- 5-minute timer
- Anti-theft mode
-

-
If the ceiling fan does not respond to the transmitter: press and hold this power button for 3–5 seconds to pair the remote control within 15 seconds of connecting the power supply. When pairing is successful, the buzzer will emit three short beeps.
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check that the batteries make good contact, the polarity (positive/negative) and the charge level (high or low).
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check whether there is another similar transmitter nearby controlling nearby products, sharing the same frequency may cause interference.
- Remove the batteries from the transmitter if it is not to be used for an extended period.
- When installing the fan, the ceiling cover must not compress the aerial (or other cable), as this could damage it and cause a short circuit.
- Remove the battery compartment cover from the transmitter.
- Install two 1.5 V AAA batteries in the transmitter.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- The natural movements of the fan can loosen some connections. A clicking or rattling noise is a clear sign of loose screws. Check the supplied connections, brackets and blade fixings twice a year and tighten screws as necessary. Ensure that the screws holding the glass to the light kit bracket are hand-tight. Do not use a screwdriver or pliers to tighten the glass screws.
ENGLISH
- Clean the fan periodically. Use only a cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution. Never use solvents. Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. Metal finishes have a lacquer coating to prevent tarnishing.
- The fan does not require lubrication. Its permanently sealed bearings will provide silent, trouble-free operation for many years.
- Ensure that the power supply is disconnected at the main fuse or consumer unit before attempting any repairs.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be due to incorrect assembly, installation or wiring. In some cases, these errors may be mistaken for defects. If you detect faults, review this troubleshooting guide. If the problem cannot be resolved or you have installation difficulties, contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
A. The fan does not work
Possible solutions:
- Check the fuses or circuit breakers on the main and branch circuits.
- Check the line cable connections to the fan and the switch cable connections in the switch housing.
CAUTION: Ensure that the main power supply is disconnected.
- Ensure that the forward/reverse switch is firmly in the up or down position. The fan will not operate if the switch is in the intermediate position.
- Ensure that the wall controller is in the «ON» position.
B. The fan makes noise
Possible solutions:
- Ensure that all motor housing screws are tight (without over-tightening).
- Ensure that the screws fixing the blade bracket to the motor are tight.
- Ensure that the cable connectors (terminal blocks/wire nuts) in the switch housing do not vibrate against each other or against the inner wall of the housing.
CAUTION: Switch off the main power before accessing the switch housing.
-
If using an optional light kit, check that the screws holding the glass are hand-tight. Check that the bulb is properly seated and not touching the glass lampshade(s). If glass vibration persists, remove the glass and install a 1/4» wide rubber band around the glass neck as insulation. Replace the glass and tighten the screws against the rubber band.
-
Some motors are sensitive to signals from solid-state variable speed controls. DO NOT USE a solid-state variable speed control.
-
Allow a 24-hour «running-in» period. Most noises associated with a new fan will disappear after this period.
C. The fan wobbles
All blades are weighted and grouped by weight. Natural woods vary in density, which may cause wobbling even when blades are matched by weight. The following procedures should eliminate most wobbling. Check for wobbling after each step.
- Check that all blades are firmly screwed to the blade brackets.
- Check that the blade brackets are firmly attached to the motor.
- Ensure that the canopy and mounting bracket are firmly fixed to the ceiling junction box, and that the box is firmly mounted to the ceiling beam.
- Most wobbling problems are due to blades not being at the same height. Check the level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip of one blade. Keep the measurement within 1/8» and rotate the fan to position the next blade for measurement; repeat for each blade. If heights are not equal, adjust as follows:
- To lower a blade tip, insert a washer (not included) between the blade and blade bracket at the screw.
- To raise a blade tip, insert a washer (not included) between the blade and blade bracket at the two screws furthest from the motor.
- If wobbling remains noticeable, swapping two adjacent blades (one next to the other) may redistribute the weight and provide smoother operation.
D. The light does not work
- Check the blue cable from the fan and ensure it is connected to the live («phase») cable of the dwelling.
- Check for loose or disconnected cables in the fan switch housing.
- Check for loose or disconnected cables in the light kit.
- Check whether the bulbs are defective.
CAUTION: Switch off the main power before accessing the switch housing.
