How to install the Energysilence Aero 452 Quicksnap fan?

Installation is simplified thanks to the Quicksnap system: fix the bracket to the ceiling, connect the electrical wires (phase, neutral, ground), then snap each blade into place by clipping it. Follow the provided manual for detailed steps.

What to do if the remote control does not respond?

First check the batteries (CR2032 type). If the problem persists, reset the receiver: turn off the fan power for 10 seconds, then restore it. If nothing works, contact Cecotec support.

How to reverse the rotation direction of the fan?

Instructions on batteries

- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.

- Do not disassemble, open, or damage the batteries.

- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.

- Do not short-circuit an element or a battery. Do not store batteries in an untidy manner, in a box, or drawer where they can short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.

- Both batteries and cells can leak under extreme

conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away from the liquid. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Pay attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) marks on the batteries and the remote-control compartment to ensure they are inserted correctly.

2. Before use

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. Installation

Below are the steps required for the correct installation of the ceiling fan. Ensure you follow the specific instructions according to the type of ceiling where installation will be carried out.

Wooden ceiling

For a wooden ceiling, install 4 self-tapping screws to secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling. Fig. 2

Note: Use the mounting bracket accessory pack.

Concrete ceiling

For a concrete ceiling, install 2 expansion screws to secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling. Fig. 3

Note: Use the mounting bracket accessory pack.

Once the mounting bracket is firmly installed, proceed with fan assembly following these steps:

1. Remove the light shade. Fig. 4
2. Remove the three pre-installed screws from the motor. Fig. 5.
3. Use the three screws to install the light plate to the motor and connect the wire terminals. Fig. 6.

4. Insert the 3 fan blades into the motor slots. Fig. 7

5. Remove and store the pin and clip from the downrod. Remove the two screws and pin from the downrod ball.

3. Loosen two screws in the downrod bracket. Pass the electrical wires from the bottom of the downrod up through the downrod, then place the downrod into the downrod bracket.

3. Align the hole in the downrod with the hole in the downrod bracket. Pass the pin through the hole. Then secure the pin with the clip. Ensure you push the straight leg of the clip through the hole in the pin until it reaches the centre of the clip. Ensure it will not fall out. Finally, retighten the two screws.

ENGLISH

Warning: It is crucial that the screws in the downrod bracket are correctly installed and properly tightened. Failure to secure the screws, pin and clip could result in the fan falling.

1. Slide the coupling cover over the downrod. Then slide the decorative cover and canopy, both facing upwards, over the downrod. Fig. 10
2. Secure the downrod ball firmly again with the two screws and pin. Fig. 11
3. Carefully lift the fan and place the downrod ball assembly into the mounting bracket that is fixed to the ceiling. Ensure that the slot in the ball is correctly aligned with the ridge in the mounting bracket.

! Warnings:

● Failure to align the slot in the ball with the ridge may result in serious injury.
● The fan must be hung with at least 230 cm clearance from floor to blades.

• Wiring
• Switch off the electricity at the main fuse box before installation.

- Connect the motor power cable, LED power cable and receiver power cable to the socket in the controller. Ensure they are connected correctly after hearing a click.

- Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws of the power cable plug. Connect the cables to the terminal according to the corresponding colours.

Warning: To avoid possible electric shock, switch off the electricity at the main fuse box or circuit panel before beginning fan installation or carrying out fan maintenance or installing accessories.

2. Loosen the 2 screws in the mounting bracket.

3. Rotate the canopy 45° anticlockwise to lock it with the 2 aforementioned screws.
4. Tighten the screws.

4. Operation

To mount the remote control bracket to the wall, follow these steps:

1. Place the bracket in the desired position.
2. Insert the wall plugs into the pre-drilled holes.
3. Align the bracket holes with the wall plugs.
4. Secure the bracket using screws, ensuring it is firmly attached.

Note: Use the remote control accessory pack.

Using the remote control

1. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control to operate the fan. Ensure the polarities are correct.
2. If you will not be using the remote control for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent possible damage.
3. Store the remote control in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
4. The LED indicator will flash each time a button is pressed, confirming the action.
5. Maintain the desired state of lights and fan for at least 15 seconds to activate the memory function and save your preferences.

Buttons description

Speed indicator	Displays the selected fan speed level.
Light button	Turns the light on or off, remembering the last colour temperature and brightness setting.Press and hold for 3 seconds to pair the code, the light will flash and the appliance will emit a sound when paired correctly.
Brightness adjustment button (down)	Reduces brightness by one level, with a minimum of level 1.
Speed selection buttons	Allows you to select between 6 speed levels.
Reverse rotation button	Toggles between forward and reverse mode to change the airflow direction.
Natural mode button	Simulates a natural breeze by alternating between different speed levels.
Timer button	Sets the timer in 1-hour increments, up to a maximum of 6 hours. The indicator lights show the selected duration.
Fan on/off button	Controls fan operation with a single touch.
Colour temperature button	Changes the light colour temperature between 2700K and 6500K.
Brightness adjustment button (up)	Increases brightness by one level, up to a maximum of 6 levels.
Sound on/off button	Enables or disables the remote control buzzer.

5. Cleaning and maintenance

1. Clean the fan regularly
2. When cleaning, use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as they could damage the appliance.

Warning: Do not use solvents to clean the fan. Doing so could damage the motor and may result in a risk of electric shock.

RECOMMENDATION: Periodically check that the blades are securely fastened to the motor with the screws.

6. Troubleshooting

Wobble

Note that not all ceiling fans are the same (not even those that are the same model), some move more than others. The fact that the fan moves a couple of centimetres does not indicate that it will fall over.

ENGLISH

Even if all blades are ballasted and grouped by weight, it is impossible to completely avoid wobble. This is not a problem. Ceiling fans tend to move during operation.

To reduce wobble try the following:

1. Check that all of the blade mounting screws are tightened and secure.
2. Fan wobble may be caused by the unevenness of the fan blades. To check the blade level, measure the distance from each blade tip to the ceiling.

If measurements are irregular:

• Be sure the blade mount screws are not too tight or too loose, which may cause wobbling due to an unleveled blade tip.

• A deformed blade can cause wobbling. Check by removing the blade and placing on a flat surface.

• Blade tracking may be checked simply by use of a household ruler. Place the ruler vertically against the ceiling and even with the outside leading edge of a blade. Note the distance of the edge of a blade compared to the others. Turn the blade slowly by hand to check the remaining blades.

If a blade is not in alignment, the blade is either out of shape, warped or the blade screws are not evenly tightened or either loose.
