Frequently Asked Questions - Energysilence Aero 4260 Sunlight CECOTEC

How to install the Energysilence Aero 4260 Sunlight ceiling fan?
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Follow the steps in the manual: attach the bracket to the ceiling (solid junction box), connect the wires (phase, neutral, ground) according to the diagram, mount the motor and blades, then attach the cover and LED bulb. Be sure to cut off the power before any handling.
How to clean my Cecotec fan?
Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the blades and motor. For stains, lightly dampen the cloth with soapy water. Never use abrasive products or solvents. Clean the LED bulb with a dry cloth when turned off.
The remote control no longer works, what to do?
First check the remote batteries (type CR2032). If the problem persists, reset the pairing: turn off the fan's power for 10 seconds, then restore it and press the PAIR button on the remote within 30 seconds. See the manual for details.
Can I use the fan without the light?
Yes, the fan and light operate independently. Use the remote or switch to turn the light on/off separately. You can also replace the LED bulb with another of the same type (E27, max 18W).
What is the reverse function and how to use it?
The reverse function changes the blade rotation direction. In summer (counterclockwise), it creates a cooling breeze. In winter (clockwise), it redistributes heat downward without draft. Use the reverse button on the remote or fan housing.
The fan is noisy, is this normal?
A slight operational noise is normal (between 35 and 50 dB depending on speed). If the noise is abnormal (squeaking, clicking), check that all screws are tight and the blades are balanced. Excessive vibrations may come from poor balancing or an insufficiently sturdy installation.
How to set the timer?
Press the TIMER button on the remote to select a duration of 1, 4, or 8 hours. The fan will turn off automatically after the set time. The light is not affected by the timer.
Where to find spare parts for this model?
Spare parts (blades, LED bulb, remote control, motor) are available on the official Cecotec website or from authorized dealers. Always use original parts to ensure safety and performance.
The fan does not turn on, what to check?
Check the power supply (circuit breaker, wall switch). Make sure the remote has batteries and is properly paired. Inspect the electrical connections at the ceiling. If the problem persists, contact Cecotec after-sales service.
What is the recommended minimum ceiling height?
The recommended minimum height is 2.5 meters between the floor and the blades for optimal air circulation and maximum safety. For very high ceilings, use an extension rod (not supplied).
