How to install the Cecotec Bolero Flux Tir 908000 A hood?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Make sure the hood is firmly fixed to the wall at least 65 cm above an electric hob or 75 cm for a gas hob. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the manual.

How to clean the grease filters?

How to use the remote control?

• Parts operating at safety extra-low voltage (provided that these parts do not give access to live parts if they are deformed).
• The air discharge regulations must be complied with.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
• Do not remove the serial number of the appliance to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. INSTALLATION

Before installation

In figure 2, you can see the dimensions required for the extractor hood installation.

The tools required for installation are gloves, crosshead screw, work surface, ladder, saw, ruler and electric drill.

1. Make sure that the distance between the cooker and the kitchen hood corresponds to the dimensions indicated before. The distance between the cooker and the kitchen hood should be between 65 and 150 cm. Fig. 3
2. Above the cooker you need an opening with the dimensions shown in figure 4. Reinforce the ceiling around the opening with a slatted or stainless-steel frame, according to the dimensions shown in the figure.
3. You can either discharge air to the outside (exhaust air mode), or recirculate air (recirculation mode), Figure 5. If discharging air, connect the end of the exhaust duct to the roof or wall outlet, Figure 6.
4. Install and fix it to the ceiling or wall. The power socket must be located close to the power cable. Fig. 7

Installation

1. Open the packaging and inspect all parts for any damage that may have occurred during transport.
2. Remove all packing material and place the kitchen hood on a stable surface.
3. Adjust the direction of the air outlet according to your wall or ceiling installation and fix the exhaust duct. Fig. 8
4. Open the central glass cover, remove the aluminium filter and the 6 screws, disconnect the terminals of the wires connected to the switch and the LED light. Remove the entire central glass cover assembly. Fig. 9
5. With the help of another person, place the hood near the hole in the ceiling. A third person must insert the plug into the previously installed socket.
6. Slide the hood into the hole in the ceiling. Then, tighten the 4 screws on the underside of the hood so that the 4 brackets are firmly attached to the ceiling frame, ensuring that the hood is firmly attached to the ceiling and none of the sides are loose. Fig. 10
7. Fit the cover and reconnect the wire terminals of the switch and LED light, then, with the help of another person, secure it again with the 6 screws firmly.
8. Fit the filter and close the cover. Switch on the kitchen hood using the remote control. Fig. 11

4. OPERATION

This kitchen hood is designed to be operated exclusively by the remote control, ensuring convenient and efficient control of its functions.

Remote control

When switching on the kitchen hood, the appliance will beep. At this point, you have 15 seconds to press any button on the remote control to pair it. If you fail to do so within this time, you must switch the hood off and on again to repeat the process.

	Power button: press this button to switch on the appliance. The kitchen hood will operate at speed 1. Press again to switch it off. Press this button to switch off the motor, but not the light.
	Increases speed from 1 to 4.
	Reduces speed from 4 to 1.
	Briefly press this button to switch on/off the light. Press and hold this button to adjust the light intensity.
	Press this button to set the timer. The default time is 3 minutes. Press + or - to select the desired time.

Carbon filters

The filter contains activated carbon that absorbs the odour. The activated carbon will become saturated after some time, so the adsorption capacity will be shortened.

When the appliance is used frequently, the active carbon filter should be replaced every 2-3 months.

Note: if frying more frequently or deep frying, shorten this interval.

The following is the procedure for changing the carbon filters, ensuring optimum performance of the hood.

1 Remove the aluminium filters.
2 The vegetal carbon filters are located on both sides of the motor. Turn the filters, until they are firmly in place. Fig. 13
3 To replace the carbon filter, proceed in reverse order.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Instructions for cleaning the kitchen hood

Warning: before cleaning, do not forget to switch off the power supply to the appliance.

A To protect the main body from corrosion over a long period of time, the kitchen hood should be cleaned with hot water and non-corrosive detergent every two months.
B Please do not use abrasive detergent, or it will damage the body.
C Keep the motor and other spare parts free of water, as this will cause damage to the appliance.
D The carbon filter must not be exposed to heat.

Cleaning the grease filter mesh

• Do not use corrosive detergents.
• Keeping this filter clean will keep the appliance working properly.
• This filter cannot be washed or cleaned in any other way than the following.

Method 1:

1 Place the mesh in 40-50 c of clean water.
2 Pour in the detergent and let it soak for 2-3 minutes.
3 Wear gloves and clean with a soft brush.
Note: do not exert too much pressure, as the mesh is delicate and easily damaged.
4 Rinse the mesh well with clean water to remove any detergent residue.
5 Allow to dry completely before replacing it in the hood.
6 Make sure that the mesh is completely dry to avoid damage or malfunction.
7 Finally, install it back in place.

Method 2:

It can be put in the dishwasher. Set the temperature to about 60 °C .
