SOMMAIRE
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable substances, wet surfaces where it can fall or be pushed into water or allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use outdoors.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the Technical Support Service of Cecotec or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- Always place the device on a flat surface. Do not cover the device or put anything on top of it.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable.
- Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the surface or worktop.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.

Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not use the device if it has been dropped or if there are any visible signs of damage.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum lit matches, cigarette ends or hot ashes.
- Always unplug the device from the power supply before opening it.
- Unplug the power cable before cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not use the product to vacuum liquids.
- The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

2. BEFORE USE
- Take the appliance out of the box.
- Clean the interior and exterior of the device with a damp cloth and dry it afterwards.
- Check for any visible damage. If any is observed, contact as soon as possible the Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice or reparation.
- Unwind the cord completely.
Product assembly
- Make sure the device is not plugged to a power supply during the assembly of the parts.
- Insert one end of the tube to the main body of the product.
- Assemble the vacuum base to the other end of the tube.
3. OPERATION
- Press the power button to turn the device on.
- Set the angle between the vacuum brush and the body by turning the handle.
- Press the On/off button to switch the device off.
Floor vacuuming
- The vacuum base has two positions:
- Hard floors
- Carpets

- Use the device as a handheld vacuum cleaner to clean sofas, armchairs, furniture, etc. To do so, simply remove the extensible metallic tube and insert any accessory directly to the main body.

- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Open the compartment on the lower part of the main body by gently pulling the "CLEAN" tab. Empty the dust tank.
Cleaning the protective filter. Remove the plastic protective filter by turning it counterclockwise.
- Clean the protective filter with a cloth or paper, you can also wash it with warm water.
High-efficiency filter clean-up. Remove the high-efficiency filter by turning it counterclockwise and clean it with a cloth or paper. If there is stubborn dirt, you can wash it with warm water, without detergents or soap.
Note
If you clean the high-efficiency filter with water, let it dry for at least 24 hours before placing it again. To dry the filter do not expose it to direct sunlight.
- Place the high-efficiency filter again and the plastic protective filter in their place and turn them clockwise until they are fixed.
Cleaning the motor protective filter. To remove the motor protective filter, turn the back cover counterclockwise and remove the filter.
- To clean it, tap it gently or use a cloth or paper. Place the filter again in its place, the back cover and turn it clockwise to fix it.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Do not wash any parts of the device in the washing machine or the dishwasher.
- Do not use an electric heater to dry it.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
- Use a soft, dampened and clean cloth to clean the product's exterior housing.
- Do not let water enter the vacuum cleaner.
- Make sure the product has completely cooled down and is completely dry before storing it.
- Do not wind the cable around the product, this could damage it.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach from children.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
