1 Exchange friend codes with another player.
If you choose Register a Friend, a screen will appear where you will enter a friend code. After entering it, choose OK and press A.

  • If one player (P1) connects and disconnects and then the other player (P2) connects later, P1 will be registered to P2's friend roster. For P2 to be registered to P1's friend roster, P1 must connect a second time after P2 has connected. In this case, the hand-keyed friend code will appear on the unregistered player's friend roster.

If the display does not change even after both players have connected, the friend code entered may be incorrect. Please delete the entry and enter it again.
