WARNING!

Long-bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard.

Elvita CDI4601V - WARNING! - 1

CAUTION!

  • Place sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal.
  • Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the basket.
  • Items such as cups, glasses, pots and pans should face downwards.
  • Curved items, or items with recesses, should be loaded at an angle so that water can run off.
  • All utensils should be stacked securely so that they cannot tip over.
  • All utensils should be placed so that they do not prevent the spray arms from rotating freely during washing.
  • Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans, etc. upside down so that water cannot collect in the container or a deep base.
  • Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other.

Elvita CDI4601V - CAUTION! - 1

NOTE!

  • Load the baskets according to the standard loading options. Aim to use all 12 place settings. This is important for good results and for the efficient use of energy and water.
  • If you do not load the baskets according to the standard loading options and you do not use all the 12 place settings, it may lead to poorer performance and inefficient use of energy and water.

Elvita CDI4601V - Connect the cold-water supply hose to a tap - 1

CAUTION!

  • If the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of time, let the water run to make sure that the water is clear. This precaution is necessary to avoid the risk of the water inlet becoming blocked and damaging the dishwasher.
  • If your sink has a spray jet fed by a hose that is connected to the same water line as the dishwasher, the hose could burst. If your sink has one, it is recommended that the hose be disconnected and the hole plugged.
