Frequently Asked Questions - Quick & Hot BR3019 TEFAL

How to use the Tefal Quick & Hot water dispenser?
Fill the tank with cold water, plug in the appliance, select the desired temperature using the adjustment button, then press the dispensing button. Make sure the child lock is disabled before use.
How to descale the appliance?
Use a compatible descaling agent or diluted white vinegar (1/3 vinegar, 2/3 water). Pour into the tank, heat, then let sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water before reuse. Repeat every 3 months.
What is the temperature of the dispensed water?
The water can be set to four temperatures: 80 °C, 85 °C, 90 °C or 100 °C (boiling). Use the selection buttons to choose.
The appliance makes a bubbling noise, is this normal?
Yes, it is normal. The noise comes from the water boiling in the boiler. If the noise becomes excessive, check that the tank is full and the appliance is on a flat surface.
How to clean the tank?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Remove the removable tank, wash it by hand with a soft sponge and dish soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly before putting it back.
What to do if water does not flow?
Check that the tank is sufficiently filled and the lid is properly closed. Make sure the child lock is not activated. If the problem persists, descaling may be necessary.
The appliance turns off by itself, why?
Automatic shut-off is a safety feature that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity to save energy. You can turn it back on manually. If the appliance turns off during use, it may indicate overheating or lack of water. Check the water level.
Can I use tap water?
Yes, tap water is fine. To extend the appliance's lifespan, we recommend using filtered water or descaling regularly if the water is hard.
How to change the anti-scale filter?
The filter is located in the tank. Unplug the appliance, remove the tank, then take out the used filter. Insert a new compatible Tefal anti-scale filter. Put the tank back.
Where to find spare parts?
Spare parts (filter, tank, etc.) are available on the official Tefal website or from authorized dealers. Refer to the user manual for exact references.
