Insert 2x AAA batteries into the display unit and 2x AAA batteries into the outdoor sensor. The units will synchronize automatically within a few minutes. Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location within 100 m of the display.
My display shows no outdoor temperature. What should I do?
Check that the outdoor sensor has fresh batteries and is within range. Press and hold the CHANNEL button to resynchronize. If the problem persists, try resetting both units by removing batteries for 10 seconds.
How do I set the time manually?
Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust hour, minute, year, month, date. Press SET to confirm each step. The radio control will override manual settings if reception is available.
Why is the time not synchronizing?
Ensure the display unit is placed away from electronic interference (e.g., TV, computer). The radio signal (DCF/MSF) is strongest at night. You can manually start a sync by pressing and holding the REC button for 2 seconds.
How do I set the alarm?
Press the ALARM button once to view current alarm time. Press and hold ALARM until the hour flashes, then use UP/DOWN to adjust. Press ALARM again to set minutes. The alarm icon appears when active.

Press the °C/°F button on the back of the display unit to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
What does the battery indicator mean?
A battery icon on the display indicates low battery in the display unit. If the outdoor sensor batteries are low, the outdoor temperature area will show a blinking battery symbol. Replace batteries promptly.
How do I view the min/max records?
Press the MEM button to cycle through: current indoor/outdoor, min indoor/outdoor, max indoor/outdoor. Press and hold MEM for 5 seconds to clear all records.
The backlight is not working. How to fix?
The backlight is usually activated by pressing the LIGHT button on top of the unit. If it still doesn't work, check batteries. Some models have an auto backlight mode; refer to manual settings.
Can I use the outdoor sensor inside?
Yes, the outdoor sensor can be used indoors, but it is designed for outdoor use. It will still measure temperature and humidity. However, it may not perform as accurately in direct sunlight or extreme conditions.
