How to use the waffle maker for the first time?
Before first use, remove all packaging and stickers. Open the appliance, ensure the thermostat is set to minimum position 1, then plug it in. The red indicator light turns on. Preheat for 5 to 7 minutes by turning the thermostat to the desired cooking setting. Wait for the green light to come on before adding batter.
How much batter to put in the waffle maker?

Depending on the type of batter used, cooking cycle times will vary.
- Some steam will be produced during cooking cycles, this is normal and allows for a fuller waffle.
