3. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Read this manual and keep it for later consultations and in this way you will prevent damage or danger from incorrect use. If you pass this device on to another person, make sure you also include this manual.
  • Before using the device, check that the voltage of the household grid corresponds to the one indicated on the device.
  • After unpacking it, check that the device is in good condition.
  • All packaging material, such as plastic bags, must be kept out of the reach of children.
  • Do not use this device with wet hands.
  • Do not use it in the bath or in the shower, or in rooms

with a damp atmosphere, or close to or over liquids (over a washbasin or a bath, for example). Make sure the device does not come into contact with water when cleaning it. 4. OPERATION (PPV-20)

This device has an automatic steam output function that makes the device give off steam when it reaches the right temperature. Filling of the tank The removable water tank is on the top of the device. Turn the device off and let it cool off. Press the unhooking buttons and remove the tank Turn the fuse holder 90º anti-clockwise and remove it from the tank. Fill the tank up to the filling hole. Place the fuse holder in the hole and turn it clockwise until it reaches its limit. Dry the tank and put it back in position on the device. Only use tap water to fill the tank. The straightening irons may be also be used without the steam function. Turning it on Place the device on a flat, heat-resistant surface and connect it to the mains. Move the switch to position I.   • Work your hair layer by layer, using clips to hold the layers you are not working on. Straighten the bottom layers before the top ones.
  • Divide the hair up into sections and work section by section. Put a section between the plates, close the straightening irons and slide it from the roots to the ends.
  • The width of a section (from side to side) should not exceed two thirds of the length of the plates. It must not be more than 5 mm thick.
  • Do not use force, the straightening irons must hold the hair gently, not pressing it.
  • Do not leave the straightening irons still in the same place for more than 2 seconds.
  • Let the straightened hair cool down before brushing.
  • Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the mains and let it cool off completely.
  • Clean your hair straightening irons and the plates after each use. Clean all the surfaces with a soft cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive or dissolvent cleaning agents. Do not submerge the device in water.
  • Caution: danger of fire. Do not use petrol, alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents.
