How to correctly assemble the Taurus TC-8 juicer?

Place the motor base on a flat surface. Attach the transparent bowl by aligning the notches. Insert the stainless steel strainer and lock it by turning. Place the lid and engage the safety clips. Make sure the locking is audible before use.

Can I put stone fruits (peaches, plums) in the appliance?

It is not recommended to put hard stone fruits (peaches, plums). Always remove the pits to avoid damaging the strainer and causing splashes. Pome fruits (apples, pears) can be introduced whole if cut into pieces.

Why won't my juicer start?

Check that the bowl and lid are properly locked (the safety clips must be fully engaged). Make sure the plug is connected and the speed is selected. The safety system prevents starting if the assembly is incorrect.

How to clean the strainer effectively?

Rinse immediately under warm water after use to prevent pulp from drying. Use the supplied cleaning brush to remove stuck residues. Place parts in the dishwasher (top rack) or wash by hand with a non-abrasive sponge.

What is the warranty period?

The legal warranty is 2 years for manufacturing defects. Keep the purchase receipt. Taurus after-sales service also offers spare parts available for at least 5 years after the end of commercialization.

Can I juice hard vegetables (carrots, beets)?

Yes, this juicer is suitable for hard vegetables like carrots, beets, and turnips. Cut them into appropriately sized pieces and use low speed to avoid vibrations. The stainless steel strainer handles fibers well.

How to avoid pulp overflow?

Do not fill the pulp container beyond its maximum capacity (1.2 L). Empty it regularly during use. Insert fruit gradually, without forcing the pusher, to allow time for the pulp to be expelled.

What to do if the appliance vibrates heavily?

Stop immediately and check that the strainer is correctly installed and balanced. A too large piece of fruit can unbalance the rotation. Cut food into smaller pieces. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

What accessories are included with the Taurus TC-8?

The package contains: the motor base, the transparent bowl, the stainless steel strainer, the lid with chute, the pusher, the pulp container, the juice jug with lid, and a cleaning brush.

Can I leave the appliance plugged in permanently?

Safety advice and warnings

- Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.

Working environment:

- Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface.

Electrical safety:

• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
• Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.

Use and care:

Instructions for use

Before use:

- Remove the appliance's protective film.

Use:

• Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Remove the protective cover.
• Cut the citrus fruit/s to be squeezed in half.
• Turn on the appliance by pushing down on the piece of citrus fruit, once it has been placed on the juicing cone.
• To stop the appliance, simply stop applying pressure to the cone.
• Remove the cone/filter unit so you can empty the jug.
• Empty the jug of juice, tipping its contents into whatever table service receptacle you like.

- Remark: If you process a large quantity of fruit, you must periodically clean the filter and remove the remains of the pulp.

Once you have finished using the appliance:

• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Put on the protective cover.
• Clean the appliance.

Cleaning

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
