Yes, provided you use aluminum wire with pure argon gas and set the appropriate current (generally higher than for steel).

How to adjust the welding current?

The current depends on thickness and material. Generally, set the current between 30 and 200 A. Start with a low value and increase gradually until a regular bead is obtained.

The red light indicates overheating of the machine. Let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes before resuming welding. This is thermal protection.
