How to turn on the Solac TH8315 heater?

Plug the device into a power outlet. Press the on/off button on the control panel or on the remote control. The screen lights up and you can adjust the desired temperature using the +/- buttons.

What is the maximum power of the TH8315?

The Solac TH8315 fan heater offers a maximum power of 2000 Watts (two levels: 1000 W and 2000 W), allowing it to effectively heat a room up to 25 m².

How to program the timer?

Press the 'Timer' button on the remote control or panel. Use the arrows to set the operating time from 1 to 24 hours. The device will automatically turn off after the programmed time.

Does the heater have an oscillation function?

Yes, the Solac TH8315 is equipped with an oscillation function. Press the 'Oscillation' button to activate a lateral movement that distributes heat evenly in the room.

What to do in case of unexpected shutdown of the device?

First check that the device has not tipped over (tip-over protection). If so, straighten it. Also ensure that the ventilation grilles are not blocked. The shutdown may also be due to overheating: let the device cool for a few minutes before restarting.

How to clean the Solac TH8315 heater?

Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surface. For the grilles, you can use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Never use water or liquid products.

Can the heater be used in a bathroom?

The Solac TH8315 has an IP21 protection rating, which protects it against vertical water droplets. It can be used in a bathroom, but out of reach of water jets and at least one meter from the bathtub or shower.

How to set the desired temperature?

Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature from 5°C to 35°C. The screen displays the ambient temperature and the setpoint. The thermostat automatically maintains the set temperature by turning the heating element on or off.

Can I use an extension cord with the TH8315?

It is not recommended to use an extension cord, as it may overheat. If necessary, use an extension cord with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm² and fully unwound. Always plug the device directly into a wall outlet.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check the remote control battery (type CR2025) and replace it if necessary. Make sure there is no obstacle between the remote control and the device's receiver. If the problem persists, contact Solac after-sales service.

ATENCIÓN

• Read these instructions carefully before using your appliance, and keep them for future reference.
• This fan heater is an excellent source of additional heat: It should not be considered as a principal heating system.
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the voltage shown on the specifications plate is the same as the mains power supply at your home.
• Do not obstruct the air inlets or place any objects on top of the vents or openings of the appliance, since this could cause an electrical shock. Do not insert anything into the grill (3).
• Always use the fan heater in the horizontal position and placed on a solid, flat and horizontal surface. Do not place it on excessively soft surfaces such as a bed.
• Leave enough space around the fan heater (at least 50 cm above and to the sides, and 120 cm in front).
• Position the fan heater away from flammable materials (glues, curtains, carpet...).
• Do not place the fan heater directly underneath a mains outlet.
• Do not use your fan heater if you see that the power cord is damaged or notice any defect on the appliance. For safety reasons, take it only to an authorised technical service centre.
• Always make sure you turn off the power switch (1) and unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
• NEVER COVER the appliance, due to risk of fire.
• Do not place the cable under carpets or under any other kind of material.
• Do not place the appliance on top of the power cord when the appliance is hot. Do not operate the appliance with the cable wound up.
• Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance near a bath, shower or swimming pool or any other water container. If the fan heater falls into water, DO NOT try to take it out. Unplug it from the mains.
• Do not use the fan heater to dry clothes, do not leave furniture closer than 50 cm in front of the appliance, and do not use in rooms with less than 4m ^2 of floor space.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• IMPORTANT: When you wish to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish. Instead, go to your nearest CLEAN POINT or waste collection point, where it will receive subsequent treatment. In this way, you will be contributing to looking after the environment.

SAFETY SYSTEM

- The appliance is equipped with an OVERHEATING DISCONNECTION system. If a problem occurs, this system automatically switches off the appliance. If this happens, proceed as follows:

1) Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2) Allow it to cool for 15 minutes.
3) Ensure that there is no dust or other obstacles that obstruct the air flow.
4) Clean the intake grill (3) with a vacuum cleaner, if necessary.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

• Connect your fan heater to the mains.
• Turn the temperature regulator control (2) to high.
• Place the power selector control (1) in the desired position:

* Medium power
**High power

- When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the temperature regulator (2) clockwise until a soft "click" is heard. The fan heater will switch off. The appliance will switch on and off in order to maintain the right temperature in the room.

- In order to turn off the fan heater, place the power selector (1) in position 0, and disconnect the appliance from the mains.

- In order to prevent temperatures below 0^ in the room, select position * on the temperature regulator (2), and place the power selector (1) in the medium power position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is switched off and unplugged from the mains.

• Allow it to cool.

• Clean the outside of the appliance with a dry cloth.

• To clean the interior of the appliance, periodically use a vacuum cleaner on low power.
• After each season, we recommend that you clean the appliance with a cloth and store it in its box in a dry place.
• Before each use, be sure that the appliance is in perfect condition.
