How do I enable parking mode?

Parking mode activates automatically when motion is detected while the vehicle is off. Ensure the camera is connected to a constant power source (e.g., hardwire kit).

Can I use the dash cam while charging?

Yes, the device can operate while plugged into the car charger. The built-in battery provides backup power during short stops.

How do I set the date and time?

Go to Settings > Date/Time in the menu. Use the navigation buttons to adjust. The date stamp will be embedded in the video file.

What does the G-Sensor do?

The G-Sensor detects sudden impact or collision and automatically locks the current recording to prevent overwriting. Sensitivity can be adjusted in settings.

How do I view recorded videos?

Remove the MicroSD card and insert it into a computer, or connect the camera via USB (mass storage mode). Use compatible media player to watch MOV/AVI files.

Is night vision effective?

The DCAM-002 uses IR LEDs for night vision. In low-light conditions, the image becomes black and white but remains clear up to 3-5 meters.

Why does my video have no audio?

Check if the microphone is enabled in settings. Go to Audio Recording and set to On. Also ensure the built-in mic is not obstructed.

How do I mount the dash cam?

Clean the windshield surface, attach the suction cup mount, press firmly, and rotate the lock lever. Adjust the camera angle via the ball joint.

What should I do if the camera freezes?

Press and hold the Reset button (small hole) with a paperclip for 5 seconds. If persistent, format the MicroSD card using the camera menu.
