How to connect the R5 Wireless mouse to my computer?

Insert the AA battery into the mouse, then plug the USB receiver into a free port on your computer. The mouse connects automatically. If it does not work, press the pairing button under the mouse.

The mouse does not work, what should I do?

Check that the battery is correctly inserted and not discharged. Make sure the USB receiver is well plugged in. Try another USB port or reset the mouse by removing the battery for 10 seconds.

How to change the DPI of the mouse?

Press the button behind the scroll wheel to cycle through preset DPI levels (800/1200/1600). The LED flashes to indicate the change.

What is the maximum wireless range?

The range is approximately 10 meters in open space. Obstacles like walls can reduce this range.

How to clean the mouse?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wring it well. Do not use chemicals or immerse the mouse.

Does the mouse use a specific receiver?

Yes, the supplied USB receiver is dedicated to this mouse. It is recommended not to lose it, as the mouse will not work with another receiver.

How long does the battery last?

With a quality alkaline battery, battery life is about 12 months under normal use (about 8 hours per day). Battery life may vary depending on usage.

Is the mouse compatible with a tablet or smartphone?

No, the mouse is designed for desktop and laptop computers with a USB port. It is not compatible with mobile devices without an OTG adapter.

What to do if the scroll wheel scrolls irregularly?

1. INTRODUCTION

Soyntec™ thanks you for buying the Soyntec Mouse R5 Wireless. We hope you enjoy using it.

Wireless long range technology mouse. High precision with 1600 dpi that provides superior smooth movement. Integrates a small sized nano-receiver which can be either stored in the mouse or integrated inside your laptop.

We recommend reading this user manual in order to enjoy the product in a safe way and with the best features.

2. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Do not expose your R5 Wireless to shakes, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners.
• Keep the device clean and without dust with a soft and dry cloth. Do not disassemble the device. Any repair work must be performed by qualified Energy Sistem Soyntec's personnel.
• Keep distance from water or moisture which could be harmful to the device.
• Avoid looking directly at the sensor light on the bottom of the mouse.

5. INSTALLATION

1. Insert the battery in the mouse.
2. Connect the nano-receiver with a free USB hub of your computer.

1. Wait until the automatic installation complete.
2. Click the right or left mouse button in order to activate it.
3. You can start to use it.

6. USE INFORMATION

▶ You can store the nano-receiver inside the mouse built-in slot as showed in the Figure 6.

- Click the DPI switch to select between 800 DPI and 1600 DPI.

▶ Use the forward and backward lateral buttons for folders or internet navigation. They are very useful for games as well.

▶ Energy save function: the mouse will become inactive after some time without use. Click the right or left mouse button to activate it.

7. SUGGESTIONS AND ADVERTISING

If there is any metal object close to the nano-receiver, please remove it, as it may obstruct the wireless transmission. If there are any other wireless devices close to the nano-receiver, please remove the receiver and reconnect it to get a different communication ID. - Do not leave the nano-receiver next to a Bluetooth dongle. - Do not use the mouse on very shiny or transparent surfaces.

8. WARRANTY

Energy Sistem Soyntec SA is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time the goods were purchased during a period of 36 months.

This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to accidents, misuse, or alteration made by an unauthorized person.

The special 36-month warranty is valid for the European Union. For other countries, please refer to your specific legislation or your local distributor.
