How to connect my phone to the Philips DLV2007 Hi-Fi system?

Use the audio cable with 3.5 mm jack to connect your phone's headphone output to the AUX input located on the front or back of the device. Then select the AUX source on the remote control or front panel.

What to do if the CD does not play?

Check that the CD is clean and free of scratches. Use a soft cloth to clean the disc from the center outward. Make sure the CD is inserted correctly, printed side up. If the problem persists, try another CD to determine if the error is with the disc or the player.

How to adjust the sound equalizer?

Press the EQ button on the remote to cycle through the presets: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical. You can also manually adjust bass and treble using the BASS and TREBLE buttons.

Can I plug in a USB flash drive?

Yes, insert a USB flash drive formatted in FAT32 containing MP3 or WMA files into the USB port. The device automatically reads the files. Use the navigation buttons to select tracks.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the batteries are installed correctly (polarity respected) and are not worn. Point the remote at the front sensor of the device. Remove obstacles between the remote and the device. If necessary, replace the batteries with new ones.

How to memorize radio stations?

Select the FM or AM source. Search for a station by holding down the SEARCH or SCAN button. Once found, press MEMORY, then choose a preset number (1-20) using the +/- buttons and confirm with MEMORY again.

The sound is distorted, how to fix it?

Reduce the overall volume. Check that the speaker cables are properly connected and not damaged. If using an external source, lower the volume of that source. Try disabling the equalizer or selecting a neutral preset.

How to clean the device?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surfaces. Never use chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners. For the speaker grilles, a light vacuum with a soft brush can be done.

Can I use the Hi-Fi system without the supplied speakers?

It is recommended to use the original speakers for optimal sound quality and to respect the impedance (4 ohms). If you wish to connect other speakers, ensure they have an impedance of at least 4 ohms and compatible power.

How to reset the device to factory settings?

Unplug the device from the power outlet for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This will reset most settings. For a full reset, refer to the user manual, as the procedure may require a specific button combination.

Play your portable audio device over any FM radio. The included rechargeable battery and car charger keep TransCast FM charged.

Controls and Connections

Using yourTransCast FM

1 Insert the included rechargeable battery into your TransCast FM, then plug yourTransCast FM into your auto power outlet using the included Car Charger.

NOTE: Included rechargeable battery must be charged before using. This device is ONLY to be used with a rechargeable battery. Be sure not to use any other type of battery with TransCast FM.

2 Plug the 3.5mm Connection Cable into the Audio-Out connector or headphone jack of the audio source you wish to use. Then, turn on your TransCast FM.
3 Tune your car's stereo to an open FM frequency, and use the Joystick Control to tune the TransCast FM to the same frequency. Then, press play on your portable audio device.
4 Adjust the volume on your portable audio device to achieve the best sound quality. Then, control the overall volume using your car stereo.
