- Do not operate the appliance if the cord, the housing or the handle is visibly damaged. In such a case, return the appliance to a service center.

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

The appliance can only be repaired by qualified service personnel. Improper servicing may cause a serious hazard to the user. In case of defects please contact a qualified service center.

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning, assembling or dismantling.

Turn off the device and unplug it from an outlet before replacing the equipment or approaching moving parts during use.

Connect the vacuum cleaner only to a 230 V mains supply equipped with a 16 A fuse.

Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Do not run the vacuum cleaner or the brushes over the cord, it may cause damage to the cord insulation.

Do not use the vacuum cleaner without the filters installed in the vacuum cleaner or if the filters are damaged.

Do not pick up: matches, cigarette butts, hot ash. Avoid picking up sharp objects.

Check the suction hose, the tubes and the nozzles – remove the dirt from the inside.

Do not vacuum fine dust such as: flour, cement, gypsum, toners for printers and copy machines etc. It is forbidden to cover up the air holes of the vacuum cleaner while it is working. Otherwise, the hot air has no way of exiting the vacuum cleaner, and this may lead to motor overheating causing a failure or a deformation of the plastic parts.

The vacuum cleaner is for household use only. Operate the appliance only in indoor spaces and vacuum only dry surfaces. Before vacuuming dry the carpets that were wet cleaned. Vacuum cleaner is a universal device with a switchable sucking brush nozzle, which is used for vacuuming hard floors and carpets.

1 Press the side button on the end of the suction hose.
2 Place the end of the suction hose in the vacuum cleaner. You should hear a distinctive click, if you do it right.
3 Attach the other end of the hose (the handle) to the suction tube.
4 Adjust the length of the telescopic suction tube by sliding the slider according to the arrow and pull out/pull the tube together.
5 Assemble the proper nozzle or brush to the other end of the suction tube.
6 Use combination carpet & floor brush for vacuuming both hard surfaces and carpets. To clean hard surfaces

8 Plug in the appliance.

Before turning the vacuum cleaner on, check whether the "CYKLON" dust container is installed in the chamber of the vacuum cleaner, and whether the inlet and outlet filters are installed in the vacuum cleaner.

9 Switch on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the "on/off" button (7).
10 The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a suction power regulation control. The power is controlled by means of a knob.
11 Turning the knob according to the label increases or respectively decreases the suction power.

Filter disassembly

Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply.

INLET FILTER CONE

It is necessary to clean the inlet filter cone from time to time.

1 Remove the "CYKLON" dust container and empty it according to paragraph F.
2 Release the fastening of the EPA basic filter (14) and remove it from the "CYKLON" dust container.
3 Press the button situated on the "CYKLON" dust container and open the bottom of the container.
4 Turn the inlet filter cone (17) clockwise.
5 Remove the inlet filter cone from the "CYKLON" dust container.
6 If the inlet filter cone (17) is dirty, it may be rinsed with running water. Remember to dry the cone before its reinstallation.

Pay attention to the gasket placed on the bottom of the cone collar. Do not lose it.

7 Place a new/rinsed inlet filter cone into the socket in such a way that the two protrusions placed on the collar are situated under the fastening in the body of the container.
8 The cone should be pressed tightly and turned to the limit counterclockwise. A characteristic click notifies about a proper installation.
9 Snap the bottom of the "CYKLON" dust container.
10 Place the EPA basic filter (14). Pay attention so that the two protrusions on the bottom part of the EPA basic filter (14) find their way into the holes of the dust container.
11 Place the "CYKLON" dust container in the chamber of the vacuum cleaner. A characteristic click notifies about a proper installation.

BASIC EPA FILTER & FOAM FILTER

It is necessary to clean the basic EPA filter from time to time, as it is contaminated with dust.

- Uninstall the "CYKLON" dust container and empty it according to paragraph F.

1 Release the fastening of the EPA basic filter (14) and remove it from the "CYKLON" dust container.
2 Remove the foam filter (15). If the foam filter (15) is dirty, it may be washed with running water. Remember to dry it off before reinstalling the filter.

The main function of the foam filter (15) is protecting the basic EPA filter (14) from excessive dirt.

Due to safety reasons it is forbidden to install a wet or damaged foam filter (15).

- Clean the pleads of the basic EPA filter (14), if any of them are damaged, the filter definitely must be replaced. If the basic EPA filter (14) is dirty, it may be washed with running water. Remember to dry it off before reinstalling the filter.

- Place the foam filter back into its place.

3 Put the new/rinsed EPA basic filter (14) back in its place – pay attention to put the two protrusions in the bottom part of the EPA basic filter (14) in the holes of the dust container. A characteristic click notifies about a proper installation.
4 Place the "CYKLON" dust container with the installed basic EPA filter (14) in the chamber of the vacuum cleaner. A characteristic click notifies about a proper installation.

OUTLET FILTER

1 In order to replace the outlet filter (12) pick up the vacuum cleaner handle, then press the fastenings on the cover of the outlet filter and slide out the cover out of the vacuum cleaner.
2 Remove the outlet filter frame out of the vacuum cleaner.
3 Remove the outlet filter out of the frame fastenings.

If the outlet filter (12) is dirty, it may be rinsed with running water. Remember to dry the filter, before its reinstallation.

Due to safety reasons, it is vital never to install a damp outlet filter.

4 Carefully put the new/rinsed filter onto all frame fastenings.

- Place the cover in such a way that the two protrusions situated in the bottom part of the cover find their way into the holes in the body of the vacuum cleaner, and then press the filter cover to snap the fastenings on the body. A characteristic click notifies about a proper installation.

Always replace a damaged inlet filter only with a brand new one.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a removable "CYKLON" dust container (a removable segment of the vacuum cleaner) gathering all pollutants. When the "CYKLON" dust container is full, it needs to be emptied.

1 The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a "CYKLON" dust container full indicator (6). When the "CYKLON" dust container full indicator (6) lights during operation (with the nozzle or the brush lifted above the cleaned surface) it means that the container is full and needs to be emptied. In addition the "CYKLON" dust container full indicator (6) may activate if the suction hose or the elements attached to the suction hose are clogged.
2 Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the "on/off" button (7).
3 Unplug the appliance.
4 Press the side button on the end of the hose, and then remove the end of the hose from the inlet hole of the vacuum cleaner.

5 Press the fastening of the "CYKLON" dust container (8) and remove the "CYKLON" dust container (16) from the vacuum cleaner.
6 Place the "CYKLON" dust container over a waste bin. Press the button on the "CYKLON" dust container and its contents will fall out into the bin.
7 After emptying the container, snap its bottom shut.

The container must be tightly closed. Otherwise the dust might enter the vacuum cleaner chamber and the suction power will be reduced.

Emptying the "CYKLON" dust container is necessary, when:

a) the "CYKLON" dust container full indicator light is on,
b) the vacuum cleaner operates poorly,
c) the "CYKLON" dust container is full.

1 Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the "on/off" button (7).
2 Unplug the appliance.
3 Wind the cord by pressing the cord rewind button (4). While doing this hold the cord to make sure it is not tangled and the plug does not hit the vacuum cleaner housing.
4 Disconnect the telescopic tube from the nozzle or brush.
5 Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose.
6 Press the side button on the end of the hose, then remove the end of the hose from the inlet hole of the vacuum cleaner.
7 The vacuum cleaner may be stored in a vertical position – just place the fastening hook of the combination brush into the fastening of the combination brush. The hose may be connected to the vacuum cleaner. Yet it is necessary to make sure it is not bent to hard during storing time.

  • Remove, empty and clean the "CYKLON" dust container, as well as the inlet filter cone and the EPA inlet filter.
  • Check and clean accessories: suction hose, tubes, nozzles and brushes.
  • Reassembly all the parts and turn the vacuum cleaner on.
  • If the thermal fuse is activated too often or the vacuum cleaner will not turn on after cooling, the vacuum cleaner should be repaired by a professional in a service center.

Remove, empty and clean the "CYKLON" dust container, replace filters, check the suction hose, tube and the nozzle – remove the cause of clogging.
