 Switch off the plant using the "ON/OFF" key.

 Interrupt raw water inflow.  Briefly switch on the unit by pressing the "ON/OFF" key until the pressure in the initial filter reduces.  Switch off the plant using the "ON/OFF" key.  Insert the filter key at the filter pot and unscrew the filter pot.  Remove the filter inlay from the filter pot und insert a new filter inlay in the filter pot.  Check sealing ring for damage and replace if required.

 Screw on the filter pot and tighten it using the filter key.

 Restart the raw water flow.  Switch on the unit using the "ON/OFF" key. Fine regulation of the operating pressures 몇 Caution Danger of damage to the plant. The following values should not be exceeded when you make changes to the plant settings: – Pump pressure maximum 1.4 MPa (FW model), 2.1 MPa (BW variant) – Maximum drinking water quantity 600 l/ h – The concentrate quantity should not fall below the value at the time of startup Note There is a time delay before the plant reacts to the changes done to the regulating valve. Hence do the settings at the pressure regulation valve in small steps and wait for the respective effect.

 Read the current conductivity value on the display of the operating panel and compare it to the value at the time of start-up (see start-up report). If the drinking water conductivity has increased to _____μS/cm, then you need to rinse the membrane of the RO filter unit:

 Reduce the drinking water output by opening the pressure regulation value to approx. 200 l/h.  Operate the plant for approx. 1 hour; then reset the nominal output by closing the pressure regulating valve.  Check again the conductivity of the drinking water. Note If rinsing the membrane does not result in lower conductivity values, then inform Kärcher Customer Service.

 Read the quantity of drinking water at the flow meter for drinking water and compare it to the value when the plant was started (see start-up report). If the drinking water flow ahs fallen to ______ l/h, then do the following fine regulation:

 Close the pressure regulation valve in a clock-wise direction until the flow meter for the drinking water has almost achieved the target value.  Close the concentrate regulation valve slowly in the clock-wise direction until the required target value is reached for the two flow meters of the concentrate and the drinking water. Note Inform Kärcher Customer Service if this fine regulation does not lead to any changes to the drinking water flow. (2) Conductivity of drinking water has increased from _____μS/cm to _____μS/cm Note Small increases in the conductivity of drinking water does not affect the quality of the drinking water.

 Wear safety gloves and safety goggles.

 Remove the can from the dosing station.  Danger Risk of injury on account of chemical reaction. The dosing stations should not get interchanged and be filled up with the wrong chemicals. Caution Risk of flocculation or other undesirable chemical reactions. Use only drinking water from WPC 600 BW/FW to mix the chemicals. The dosing depends on the filling level in the dosing container. Fully emptied dosing container.  Fill 10 l drinking water in the dosing container.  Using a measuring beaker, measure 7.5 times the quantity mentioned in the dosing table and add it to the dosing container.  Fill up the dosing container up to the mark "75 l" with chlorine-free water.

 Close the cover of the dosing station.

 Pull out the mixing rod from the dosing container until the stop and push it back into the container. Repeat this process for approx. 5 minutes until the chemicals are fully mixed.  Deaerate the dosing pump according to the instructions in the chapter "Maintenance and Care". Partially emptied dosing container:  Check the filling level of the dosing container, for e.g. 35 l.  Determine the refill quantity - subtract the filling level value you have read from 75 l. In the example: 75 l – 35 l = 40 l.

 From the dosing table, find out the required quantity of the corresponding chemicals. In the example: 4 times the quantity for 10 l water.

 Measure the ascertained quantity of the corresponding chemical and fill it into the dosing container.  Fill up the dosing container up to the mark "75 l" with chlorine-free water.  Close the cover of the dosing station.  Pull out the mixing rod from the dosing container until the stop and push it back into the container.
