USER MANUAL 99295 TREBS

  • Do not use the appliance longer than 40 hours at once. If the appliance is used for 40 hours, turn o the appliance, unplug it and let it cool down.
  • Improper use of the appliance can cause damage and injury to the user.

3.1 First use

  • Unpack the appliance.
  • Wash lids and seconds of the appliance. Wash seconds in warm water adding a small quantity of detergent for washing dishes. Clean the power base with the help of a wet rag (do not put it into water and do not wash it).

3.2 Funconing

Drying products is an eecve way to conserve them.

Warm air of a xed adjustable temperature circulates freely inside the appliance between the upper and lower lids, separate controllable removable seconds and power base. In this way the products inside the appliance are dried evenly and the loss of vitamins can be reduced to a minimum. You can enjoy fruits, vegetables and mushrooms prepared without unhealthy substances throughout the whole year.

Flowers, medicinal plants and cereals can also be prepared using this appliance.

3.3 the use

  1. Prepare the products you want to dry. Make sure the pieces are thin enough to t into the drying drawers
  2. Divide the prepared products into removable seconds. The products should be placed in such way that the air can circulate freely between them (regulaon of height of the seconds is possible).that is why you should not put too many products to the seconds and put the products on to each other.
  3. Put the seconds on to a power base.
  4. Put the upper lid on the appliance. During drying the upper lid should always be on the appliance.

NOTE: You should dry products following the guidelines of this manual.

  1. When you nish using the appliance turn it o by pung the switch to the posion "OFF". Let the products cool down. Put dried products into a container/package for keeping food and put it into a freezer.
  2. Unplug the appliance.

NOTE: It is recommended to put all 6 seconds on to the appliance during use, no maer how many seconds are empty. If there are empty seconds, place the lled seconds on top of the appliance.

PLEASE NOTE: Wash and dry products before pung them in the appliance. Do not put wet products into the appliance.

You can change the posion of the seconds if not all products on it dried well. You can put upper seconds down, closer to the power base, and lower seconds more upwards. Some of the fruits can be covered by their natural protective layer and that is why the duraon of drying is higher. To avoid this maer it is beer to boil products for about 1-2 minutes, put them into cold water and rug them aer that.

The duraon of drying depends on the temperature and humidity of the room, the level of humidity of products, the thickness of the pieces etc.

  • It is recommended to dry leafs and propagules.

3.5 Storage of dried fruits

  • Containers for storing the dried products should be clean and dry.

3.8 Preliminary preparaon of the vegetables

  1. It is recommended to boil green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus and potato, before drying them and aer that pung them into the fruit dryer.

  2. How to boil: put the preliminary prepared vegetables into a saucepan with boiling water for about 3-5 minutes. Then pour out the water and put the vegetables into the appliance.

  3. If you want to add a smack of lemon to green beans, asparagus etc., just put it into a lemon juice for about 2 minutes.

3.10 Preliminary preparing of meat, sh, poultry and game animals

Preliminary preparing of the meat is indispensable and necessary for saving the health of a consumer. Use meat without additives for eecve drying. It is recommended to pickle the meat, this helps to remove the water out of the meat and save it beer.

Standard pickle:

• 1/2 glass of soybean sauce
• 1 piece of garlic, cut to small pieces
• 2 big spoons of ketchup
• 1 and 1/4 dessert spoon of salt
• 1/2 dessert spoon of dried pepper
- All ingredients should be mixed carefully.

Poultry

  • Before the beginning of drying, poultry should be preliminary prepared.
  • It is beer to boil it or fry it.

Fish
