How do I set the time on the Blaupunkt BT20BK?

Press and hold the Clock button for 2 seconds. Use the tuning knob to adjust hours, press again to set minutes, then press Clock to confirm.

Can I listen to the radio without batteries?

Yes, you can use the optional AC adapter (5V, 1A, center positive) by plugging it into the DC IN jack on the side.

How do I improve FM reception?

Fully extend the telescopic antenna and rotate it for best signal. Avoid placing the radio near metal objects or electronic devices.

Why is the sound distorted?

Check the volume level; if too high, lower it. Also ensure batteries are fresh or the AC adapter is providing stable power. If using headphones, clean the jack.

How do I preset radio stations?

Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the Preset buttons (1-10) until a beep sounds. Repeat for other presets.

What type of batteries does the BT20BK require?

It requires 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Rechargeable NiMH batteries can also be used but may result in slightly shorter playback time.

The radio turns off automatically after a while. Why?

The Sleep Timer may be active. Press the Sleep button repeatedly to set the desired off time (15, 30, 60, 90 minutes) or turn it off by selecting 'OFF'.

How do I clean the radio?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners.

Can I use headphones with the radio?

Yes, plug any standard 3.5 mm headphones into the headphone jack. The built-in speaker will mute automatically when headphones are connected.

What should I do if the radio does not power on?

First, check if batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+) and (-) and that they are fresh. If using an AC adapter, verify it is plugged in and working. If still no power, try resetting by removing batteries for 30 seconds.

PANEL

• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) the button for power on and power off.
• Press to change source between Bluetooth, USB, FM radio and AUX.

• Press to pause in Bluetooth and USB source.
• Press this button to answer the phone call in hands free when there is a phone call in.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) the button to start autoscan and save FM radio station. (The unit can save up to 40 FM stations)
• Press and hold (about 5 seconds) the button to disconnect the Bluetooth connections, the speaker will turn to searching other matching Bluetooth device when you hear beep sounds.

3. PREVIOUS

• When the player is in working mode, press to return to the previous track in Bluetooth and USB source.
• Press to return to the previous channel in FM radio.
• Press and hold the button for fast backward playback in USB.
• Press and hold the button for manual search to previous frequency in FM radio.

4. NEXT

• When the player is in working mode, press to skip to the next track in Bluetooth and USB source.
• Press to skip to the next channel in FM radio.
• Press and hold the button for fast forward playback in USB.

CHARGING

• The unit has a built-in lithium battery. Please use the DC/AC adapter or USB terminal to charge the battery whether the unit is powered on or off. It is recommended to power off the speaker for battery charging.
• In low battery status, the speaker will adjust the volume automatically. The unit will switch off automatically if it is not charged in low battery status.
• During charging mode, the battery symbol will flicker; and will be stable when the charging is full.

Notes:

The battery lifetime will last longer if you follow the simple guidelines below for charging and storing.

a. For the first charge, charge it for at least 10 hours. The battery will provide the best performance after fully charging and discharging 3 times. It is better to charge the unit after it is completely discharged, otherwise it may impact the battery's lifetime. b. Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C to 35°C (40°F to 95°F). c. Do not charge for longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging or discharging may shorten the battery's life. d. During charging, you can play music at the same time. e. Please do not use it under high humidity and temperature environments for a long time. f. Please turn off the speaker if it is not used for a long time. g. Please use the supplied adapter and cable for charging.

Important:

Due to prolonged charging and discharging, the unit's battery life will be affected and playback time will also be shortened. We cannot guarantee consistent playback throughout, and this is not included in our warranty and service.

BLUETOOTH

• Press the power ⏻/∃ button to switch into Bluetooth mode, then using your Bluetooth device to search the Bluetooth signal of unit. Select "BLAUPUNKT BT10 / BT20" in searched ready Bluetooth manual list of your device.
• The Bluetooth indicator will keep flickering before connected, and will freeze up after connected successfully. Then you can select music and synchronize play songs on your Bluetooth device.
• Press and hold (about 5 seconds) /▶///* to disconnect the Bluetooth connections, the speaker will turn to searching other matching Bluetooth device when you hear beep sounds.
• Press 2/▶//* to answer the phone call in hands free when there is a phone call in.
• Press 2/▶‖/※ to pause or playback music.
• Press ◀ to return to the previous track.
• Press ➕ to skip to the next track.

Important note: On hands free mode, please keep the spoken to the

microphone hole on the top panel as close as you can (fewer 10 cm is the best). Because there will impact the sound quality and volume for another people's reception.

USB

• Press ⏻/≡ to switch source to USB. Plug in USB device to play back music on rear panel.
• Press ◀ to return to the previous track.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) ◀ for fast backward playback.
• Press ▶▶ to skip to the next track.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) ▶ for fast forward playback. Please make sure your USB device is FAT16 or FAT32 file system, and your music file is MP3 format.

Important notes: The max supported USB device is 32GB. An extended USB cable for playing connection is not recommended, because that will impact the audio signal input.

POWER BANK

The unit can provide power bank charging function on power on status when you connect with USB power with other device. The charge out power spec is 5V/500MA. The unit can support most of smart phone.

FM RADIO

• Press ⏻/≡ to switch source to FM radio.
• The player has an antenna inside. For better signal receiving, suggest input AUX cable before autoscan.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) J / ▶ // / ※ to start autoscan. After autoscan, it will store all channels automatically.
• Press ◀ to return to the previous channels.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) ◀◀ to scan previous frequencies. After scanning, it will store channels automatically.
• Press ▶▶ to skip to the next channels.
• Press and hold (about 2 seconds) ▶ to scan next frequencies. After scanning, it will store channels automatically.

AUX

- Press ⏻/∃ to switch source to AUX. You can input the stereo audio signal from extra devices such as mobile phone, tablet, computer, MP3

player to the AUX of this player.

- When the player connects the AUX input terminal, ◀◀ and ▶▶ buttons are only controlled by the extra devices.

NFC

If your device is NFC enabled, hold it near this player (less than 4cm is best); then the device will inform you to connect to this player.
