Before you use the scale for the first time you should read the instructions carefully and save them for future use.
Since the scale is electronic you should be aware that the function can be affected by changes in temperature or if you move the scale. The function can also be affected by other electronic appliances as cell phones, heating coils, microwaves etc. Place the scale in a room with normal temperature and let it acclimatize for 24 hours before you use it for the first time.
Before the first use or if the scale has been moved always do this procedure, otherwise it may lead to wrongfull weighing. Start to reset the scale by tapping in the middle of the scale, the display flicker 4 lines for about 3 seconds, after that it shows "0.0", let it automatically turn off.

The tolerance of the scale is 1%, it means that if you weigh 70 kg it may vary between 69,3 and 70,7 kg. The scale has an interval of 100 g, so if you weigh 70,75 the display will show either 70,7 or 70,8 kg (with 1% tolerance).
Helpful hints
To ensure reliable readings, always stand completely still on the scale, otherwise the result may be misleading. Clothing or just eaten meals can have effect on the readings. If you want to monitor your weight during a long period of time you should consider weighing your self approximately the same time of the day each time, preferable without clothes and without moving the scales in between.
Use
- Place the scale on an even flat surface and reset it as described before. Activate the scale by lightly tapping the centre of the scale. When the display shows "0.0" it is ready to be used.
- Step on the scale, place your feet at the same position each time and divide the weight between both legs and between toe and heel. Remember to stand completely still. The display fl inker“---” for 3 seconds and your measurement will appear on the display.
- When you have stepped off the scale your weight can be seen for a few seconds and after that the display will show "0.0". The display will automatically shut off after 5 seconds which prolongs the lifetime of the battery.
If you overload the scale (max 150 kg) the display will show "Err".
Important!
To achieve a correct result you ought to follow these guidelines:
- Place the scale on an even, fl at and dry surface.
- Place the feet on the same place on the scale every time.
- Divide your weight evenly between toe and heel.
- Stand still.
If the scale is overloaded the display will show "Err".
Battery
When the batteries need to be changed, the display will show “Lo”. Remove the battery compartment lid, remove the old battery by pull outwards the little black knob which is on the side of the battery slot and coax out the battery (pic A). Place a new lithium battery type CR2032 by putting one edge under the electrode, then press down the other edge inside the slot from the knob side (pic B and C), then put the battery compartment lid back on.
