How to descale the Nespresso Essenza Automatic XN2125 machine?

Use the Nespresso descaling solution. Pour it into the water tank, start the descaling program by pressing the corresponding buttons (see manual). Then rinse with fresh water. Perform this operation every 3 months or as soon as the indicator flashes.

Why is my machine leaking?

Check that the water tank is properly engaged and that the drip tray is not full. Make sure the capsule is inserted correctly and the lid is closed. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

What to do if the red light flashes?

A red flashing light generally indicates the need for descaling. Follow the descaling procedure. If the light flashes afterwards, check for scale in the tank and lines.

How to make a long coffee (lungo)?

Place a cup, insert a capsule, then press the lungo button (often marked with a large cup). The machine will dispense about 110 ml. You can also program the volume by holding the button.

My coffee is not hot enough, what should I do?

Preheat the machine by running some water without a capsule. Use a preheated thick cup. Check that room temperature is not too low. If the problem persists, descale the machine.

Can I use capsules other than Nespresso?

The machine is designed exclusively for original Nespresso capsules. Using non-compatible capsules may damage the system and void the warranty.

How to empty the used capsule container?

Lift the machine lid, remove the used capsule compartment, empty it, and replace it. Do this regularly to avoid odors.

The water tank empties quickly, is this normal?

Yes, for an espresso (40 ml) or lungo (110 ml), consumption is moderate. If making multiple coffees, the 0.8 L tank allows about 7 to 10 cups.

How to clean the exterior of the machine?

Use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products. The drip tray and tank can be washed with soapy water.

The machine no longer turns on, what should I check?

Check the electrical outlet, power cord, and switch. Make sure the water tank is properly placed. If nothing works, contact after-sales service.

Avoid risk of fatal electric shock and fire.

• In case of an emergency: immediately remove the plug from the power socket.

• Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. If a capsule is blocked in the capsule compartment, turn the machine off and unplug it before any operation. Call the Nespresso Club or Nespresso authorized representative. Always fill the water tank with cold, fresh drinking water.
• Empty water tank if the appliance will not be used for an extended time (holidays, etc.).
• Replace water in water tank when the appliance is not operated for a weekend or a similar period of time.
• Do not use the appliance without the drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling any liquid on surrounding surfaces.
• Do not use any strong cleaning agent or solvent cleaner. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent to clean the surface of the appliance. • To clean machine, use only clean cleaning tools.
• When unpacking the machine, remove the plastic film and dispose.
• This appliance is designed for Nespresso coffee capsules available exclusively through the Nespresso Club or your Nespresso authorized representative.
• All Nespresso appliances pass stringent controls. Reliability tests under practical conditions are performed randomly on selected units. This can show traces of any previous use.
