Important safety information
For your own protection from injuries and electric shocks, the following information must be observed when using electrical equipment:
Read all the instructions before using the appliance!
- Only use the hairdryer to dry hair.
- Only operate the hairdryer with an alternating current and with the voltage stated on the nameplate.
- Never touch electrical equipment that has fallen into water.
Disconnect from the mains immediately.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water and AVOID contact with water or other liquids. When switched either on or off, keep the appliance AWAY FROM bathtubs, showers, areas of high humidity and water-filled containers. Always disconnect from the mains after use since water can pose a hazard, even when the hairdryer is switched off.
- When the hairdryer is new, sparking may occur at the collector of the motor inside the hair-dryer. This phenomenon disappears after a brief operating period and does not indicate that there is any impairment of the hairdryer's operational safety.
- If the hairdryer has fallen onto the floor and is subsequently defective, first disconnect from the mains and then cut through the mains cable so that it cannot be used.
- Never use the appliance without the rear filter.
- Disconnect from the mains before cleaning or servicing the hairdryer.
- Keep packaging away from children.
- This appliance is not suitable for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities or who do not have the relevant experience or knowledge of using such appliance, unless under the supervision of or after having received instruction in the use of the appliance by an individual who is responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Never use the appliance with wet hands or feet.
- Never use the hairdryer when barefoot.
- Only use the appliance for the proper use as described in the operating instructions. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
-
Do not use the hairdryer if it is defective, if it has fallen onto the floor or if the mains cable is damaged. Switch off the hairdryer if it is defective and/or if there is a malfunction. Repairs may only be performed at an authorised Service Center using original parts. Only specialists properly trained in the handling of electrotechnical appliances may repair electrical equipment.
-
If the mains cable is damaged, it should be replaced immediately at an authorised Service Center.
- When disconnecting the hairdryer from the mains, never pull on the mains cable or on the hairdryer itself.
- Do not hold the appliance by the mains cable to carry it and do not use the cable as a handle.
- Do not wind the mains cable around the hairdryer.
- Keep the mains cable and appliance away from hot surfaces.
- Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or kinked when stored.

- As additional safety measure, it is recommended that a tested residual current appliance (RCD) with a residual operating current of not more than 30 mA be installed in the bathroom circuit. Your electrician will be pleased to help you.
- We are not liable for damage caused as a result of improper use or failure to observe these user instructions.
