IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

• Before connecting the appliance to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.
• For safety reasons, this class II appliance is provided with double or reinforced insulation as indicated by the symbol ☐
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
• The proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair dryer is switched off. When using the appliance in bathrooms, unplug after use.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
• The appliance is only intended for drying scalp hair. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual, in order to avoid hazardous situations. Do not use the appliance on artificial hair.
• Regularly check if the supply cord, appliance or extension cable are defective. If found defective, do not put appliance into operation. Immediately pull the plug.
• Never carry or pull the appliance by the supply cord. Do not wrap the supply cord around the appliance.

• Always unplug the appliance after use.
- Do not use attachments other than recommended by the manufacturer or specified in this manual.
- When using attachments, make sure they are attached properly and securely.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while turned on or plugged in. Always switch off the appliance before putting it down, even if it is just for a moment.
- Never pull the plug by the supply cord or with wet hands. Disconnect the mains plug in case of faults during use, before cleaning or moving the appliance, and after use.
- Never block the air inlet or outlet grilles. Risk of fire!
- The appliance features a safety function. If the appliance overheats, it switches off automatically. In such case, unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before switching the appliances on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.
- Do not insert any objects into the appliance to avoid electric shock.
- Keep the appliance clean and free of dust, dirt and styling products such as mousse, spray and gel.
- WARNING: the polyethylene bags over the product or its packaging may be dangerous. Keep these bags out of the reach of babies and children. Never use them in cribs, children's beds, pushchairs or playpens. The thin film may cling to the nose and mouth and prevent breathing. A bag is not a toy.

- This unit has been equipped with a temperature cut-out. If the unit overheats, it will shut off automatically or will stop heating. If this happens, slide the switch on the unit's handle into the OFF position, unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. BEFORE using it again, make sure there is no hair or any other dirt in the unit's rear filter. Plug the unit in and switch it on. If it overheats again, stop using it immediately, switch it off and unplug it.

Intended use

This appliance is intended for drying scalp hair. Only use according to these instructions. Improper use is dangerous and will void any warranty claim. Observe the safety instructions.

Disposal

The crossed-out wheeled bin logo requires the separate collection of waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE). Electric and electronic equipment may contain dangerous and hazardous substances. Do not dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more information.

Concentrator and diffuser

The hair dryer is supplied with a concentrator and a diffuser that can easily be fitted to or removed from the unit.

Drying

Switch on the appliance by setting the switch to the desired airflow setting:

0 To switch the device off
1 For drying short hair or for styling
2 For ultra-quick drying

Temperature

Set the temperature switch to the desired tempreature setting;

1 Low temperature
2 Mediate temperature
3 High temperature

lon function

Use the ion function to protect and sterilize hair and to reduce frizz and static electricity. Improves blood circulation and health.

0 To switch ion function off
1 To switch ion function on. Indicator light turns on.

\*Cool shot function

Press the cool shot button *or styling and gently drying hair that is almost dry. It will give the hair additional shine.

Before use, plug in the hair dryer.
