INTRODUCTION
This appliance is specially designed for measuring your body fat percentage, hydration percentage, body muscle and body bone and for calculating your recommended calorie intake. This way you can monitor your body fat and hydration, your muscles, bone mass and weight on a daily basis. Based on the analysis of your height, weight and age, the scale will tell you your daily energy needs so you can control your weight.
OPERATION
The human body is slightly electrically charged. By standing on the metal electrodes of the weighing platform, a light electrical charge will be sent through the body. By determining the amount of resistance this charge receives, the percentages of fat, hydration, muscle and bone can be measured.
CALORIES
Calorie = energy unit
The scale also displays a number that indicates the amount of calories your body should receive every day. If you combine your calorie intake with exercise, this can be an effective way to lose weight. This is quite a simple theory. If your daily calorie intake can not support your energy use, the body will take energy from stored carbohydrates and fats, which leads to weight loss.
PREPARATION
Place a 1 x 3V (CR2032) battery into the compartment at the bottom of the scale. Place the scale on a dry, flat and solid surface. Avoid carpet or an uneven surface.
