What to do if the screen displays 'REGION CODE ERROR'?

This message indicates that the disc's region code does not match the unit's (region code 2). Use a disc whose region code includes '2' or 'ALL' (all regions). See page 7 of the manual for more information.

Press SET UP, go to 'DVD VIDEO SET' then 'LANGUAGE SET'. You can select the language for menus, audio, and subtitles. During playback, use the AUDIO and SUBTITLE buttons to change temporarily.
