What to do if no image appears on the screen?
Check that the lens cap is removed, the projector is turned on, and all cables are properly connected. Ensure the lamp is installed correctly. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
How to replace the projector lamp?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Remove the lamp cover by unscrewing the 2 screws. Unscrew the 2 screws of the lamp module, pull the handle and remove the module. Insert the new lamp module (model SHP 180W DC) and screw it back. Replace the cover, turn on again, then reset the counter in the menu 'Options > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset'.
The projected image is distorted (keystone). How to correct it?
Use the Keystone Correction function on the control panel or remote (Keystone +/- buttons) to adjust vertical distortion up to ±18 degrees. If possible, reposition the projector so it is centered relative to the screen.
How to connect a laptop to the projector?
Connect the supplied VGA cable between the projector and the computer. First turn on the projector, then the computer. The projector automatically detects the source; otherwise, press 'Source' to select VGA. If the laptop screen does not display, use the key combination [Fn] + [F4] or equivalent (depending on brand) to activate external output.
The projector displays 'Lamp Warning: Lamp life expired'. What to do?
This message indicates that the lamp is approaching end of life. Replace the lamp as soon as possible following the replacement procedure. After replacement, reset the counter in the menu 'Options > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset'.
How to clean the projector?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the cabinet. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Do not clean the optics without precautions; if necessary, use a lens cloth.
The control panel keys no longer work. What to do?
Check if the Keypad Lock function is enabled in the OSD menu. If so, disable it by pressing and holding the 'Enter' key on the panel for 7 seconds, or use the remote to unlock it.
Why is the projected image flickering or unstable?
Use the Tracking function in the 'Signal' menu (only in analog VGA mode) to synchronize the frequency. If vertical bars appear, adjust the Frequency. Ensure your source resolution is compatible (recommended: XGA 1024x768).
How to set up a password to secure the projector?
Go to the menu 'Options > Security > On'. The default password is '1234'. Use the numeric buttons on the remote to enter a 4-digit code, then confirm with the '←' key. To change the password, go to 'Change password' and follow instructions.
The projector heats up and shuts down by itself. What to do?
Check that the ventilation openings are not obstructed. Ensure the ambient temperature is between 5 and 35°C. If the projector is used at high altitude (above 1500 m), enable High Altitude mode in the 'Options' menu to run the fans at full speed. If the problem persists, contact a technician.
