Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.
Unsnap and remove vent and clock assembly from above climate controls.*
See figure A
Remove (2) screws from behind vent and clock assembly.
See Figure B.
Unsnap and remove ashtray assembly from below radio and remove.*
See Figure C.
Remove (2) screws from behind ashtray assembly.
Remove radio and climate controls as one unit.
Remove left and right bracket from radio and climate controls.
See Figure D.
*Tip: Tape the end of a small flat blade screwdriver and use to pry panel starting from windshield end.

Interior view of a car air conditioning unit (no visible text or labels)1 Secure the Mounting Brackets to the housing/pocket assembly by snapping securing in place. Insert (2) #8 x 3/8" screws provided into assembly.

2 Align the climate control module to the top of the housing assembly. Secure the brackets of the housing assembly to the climate control module with (4) phillips screws previously removed.

3 Slide the DIN cage into the radio opening and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down.

4 Slide the DIN unit into the cage until it is secure.

5 Continue to final assembly.

Secure the Mounting Brackets to 1 the housing/pocket assembly by snapping securing in place. Insert (2) #8 x 3/8" screws provided into assembly.

Align the climate control module to the top of the housing assembly. Secure the brackets of the housing assembly to the climate control module with (4) phillips screw previously removed.

Align the holes in the ISO Snap In Brackets with the holes on the head unit. Mount the brackets to the head unit with screws supplied with the unit.

NOTE: To remove the mounted head unit, unclip and remove the ISO Trimplate. Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, disengage the side clips securing the ISO Snap In Brackets to the housing/pocket assembly.

1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)

2 Re-connect the battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
3 Reassemble dash in the reverse order of Dash Disassembly on pages 1.
