  1. Turn the heater into the upright position and wait for 15–30 minutes for the oil inside to settle. After this period, the heater will be ready for use.

OPERATION

IMPORTANT: Before first use, ensure the heater has sat upright for 15–30 minutes to allow the oil inside to settle. Doing so will ensure normal operation.

Placement

Ensure there is at least a 30cm clearance of the heater from any objects or walls.

Powering on

  1. Fully uncoil the power cord from the storage ring.
  2. Plug the power cord into a power socket and turn on the socket. The heater will turn on and the power indicator will illuminate.

Notes:

  • The power indicator will always be illuminated unless the heater is unplugged or has fallen over.
  • On repeated use, ensure metal does not become attached onto any part of the power cord before plugging it into the power socket.

Thermostat

Turn the thermostat between the MIN and MAX markers to adjust the temperature of heat being emitted by the heater.

The closer it is turned towards the MAX marker, the hotter the temperature. If the room becomes too hot, turn the thermostat towards the MIN marker. The heater will then automatically enter a cycle of turning on/off to regulate the temperature.

Note:

It is suggested to set the thermostat to MAX first before turning towards the MIN marker as required.

Heat settings

This heater features four heat settings. Turn the heat setting dial to the desired setting. Higher settings will lead the heater to emit more heat, heating rooms at a faster rate.

Powering off

Turn the heat setting dial back to '0' and turn off the power at the socket.

CLEANING & CARE

Ensure the heat setting dial is set to '0', and that the heater is switched off, unplugged, and completely cooled before cleaning or storing.

Cleaning

Wipe the exterior with a clean dry cloth.

Note:

Do not clean the heater with water or any other liquids.

Storage

Wrap the power cord around the storage ring and store the heater in a cool dry place, away from children and metal objects.

Notes:

  • Do not place heavy objects on top of the heater as this may result in damage.
  • Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with sharp objects and do not allow it to be pressed down.

NOTES

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), this is a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder underscore. Therefore, the OCR result must ignore it and output nothing or only meaningful text. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of four underscores. This is an incorrect interpretation of the line as a fill-in-the-blank placeholder, violating the rule that stylistic lines must be ignored. The OCR has hallucinated underscores where none should exist based on the GT's visual context. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.

The Ground Truth image displays a single, continuous horizontal line, which is a stylistic or background element (like a ruled paper line). According to Rule 2, such lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The OCR content provided is "", which consists of no characters. Since the OCR output correctly ignores the background/stylistic line and produces no actual text, it complies with the “Stylistic/Background Lines (Ignore)” rule. Therefore, the OCR result is consistent with the Ground Truth.

The Ground Truth image displays a single, continuous horizontal line, which is a stylistic or background element (like a ruled paper line). According to Rule 2, such lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of underscores. Underscores are not equivalent to a solid line and are not permitted under the “Stylistic/Background Lines (Ignore)” rule. Outputting underscores for a stylistic line is incorrect because it misinterprets the line as a fill-in-the-blank placeholder. Since the OCR output incorrectly rendered a stylistic line as underscores (which should be ignored), this violates the rule. Therefore, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.

According to Rule 2, such stylistic/background lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The OCR content provided is "", which consists of no characters. This correctly represents the absence of any textual content in the GT and correctly matches the visual line as a stylistic element. Therefore, the OCR output should have been empty or omitted this line entirely.
