1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. This is a high-precision product. Please do not drop it.
2. Do not expose the unit to strong magnetic objects, such as magnet and engines. Avoid strong radio waves. Strong magnetic fields may cause the product to breakdown, as well as images and sounds.
3. Never leave the product exposed to high temperatures and/or direct sunlight.
4. Please choose a branded Micro SD card. We cannot guarantee that neutral cards will operate properly.
5. Do not place the Micro SD card near strong magnetic objects in order to avoid loss of data.
6. In the event of overheating, smoke or any unpleasant smell during the charging process, immediately unplug the device in order to prevent a fire hazard.
7. While charging, maintain the product out of the reach of children. Power cords may cause children to accidental suffocate or cause electric shock.
8. Keep the device in a cool, dry and dust-proof place

2.2. Using the Product

1. Inserting Micro SD Card

Please choose a branded Micro SD card and format it on a computer prior to use. Neutral cards are not guaranteed to work properly.

1. Installing and removing batteries

A) Press on battery cap to open it
B) Correctly insert the battery into the camera as indicated by the +/- symbols and arrow direction marked on the battery until it is in place
C) Battery changing. Please refer to diagram
D) Battery removal. Open cap to take the battery out

1. Charging

A) Charging can be done by either connecting the SJ4000 to a computer or power adaptor
B) Charge the SJ4000 in your vehicle by connecting it to a car charger
C) The SJ4000 can record video while charging (Switch to Vehicle-mounted Mode in the "Menu" option)

1. Switching the camera on and off

A) Press and hold power switch for 3 to 5 seconds to turn the camera on/off
B) Switch it on and off by turning display screen on and off

1. Mode Switching

Switch between video recording/photo shooting/playback/menu by pressing the "Power On-Off" button

Recording mode, while in photo shooting mode. Symbols are displayed at the top of the screen. The first one refers to the video playback function and the last one to system settings.

2. Video Recording

Switch to recording mode and an icon will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. Press OK to start recording. The icon in the upper left corner will start to flash. Press "OK" again if you want to stop and the icon will disappear

1. Photo shooting & Settings

Switch the camera on and press "Mode" to select "Photo shooting Mode". An icon will appear in the upper left corner of the display screen and the camera will be in photo shooting mode. Press "ok" to take pictures.

1. File Storage & Playing

After you have finished recording. Use a USB cable to export the videos onto a computer for playback. You may also take the Micro SD card out and access the images data with a card reader.

Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.

WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

5. ENvlroNmENTal ProtEctloN

In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
