This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read all instructions prior to use.
- Before connecting the water heater to the power supply, check if the voltage specified on device matches the voltage in your house. If not, contact your dealer and do not use the water heater.
- Attached base can not be misused.
- Do not operate the device in order to avoid damage to the thermo elements.
- Unplug the device when unused.
- Do not allow the cable to hang from tables or the counter or contact hot surfaces.
- Do not put the device near hot gas or electric ovens or into an heated oven.
- In the event that you accidentally operate the water heater without adding any water, dry boiling protection will turn off the water heater. If this is the case, fill the water heater with cold water and wait for the heater to warm up before you perform a boiling operation again.
- Make sure that the water heater is used on a firm and flat surface that is not reachable by children; so you will prevent the water heater from turning upside down and hurt people.
- To avoid fire, electric shock or personal injuries, do not immerse the cable, plug or the water heater into water or any other liquid.
- Pay attention to discharge boiling water slowly and carefully; avoid discharging the water heater too quickly.
- When the heater is hot, be careful when you open the cap to refill again.
- Close observance is required when the device is used by children by some means or other or close by children.
- Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or button.
- When the device filled with hot water is carried, much care should be taken.
- The device is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with the device.
- Using the accessories not approved by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injuries.
- When boiling water, avoid contact with steam coming out from the opening of water heater during boiling process or right after the device is turned off. You do not need to worry when you open the cap.
- Unplug the device when you do not use it and before you clean it; wait for device to be cooled while you attach or remove the parts and before you clean the device.
- Always make sure that the cap is closed and do not pull up the cap when water is
boiled. In the event that the cap is pulled up during brewing cycles, burns may occur.
- If the power cable is damaged, in order not to be exposed to a danger, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent or a person with similar qualification.
- Do not misuse the device.
- Water heater may only be used with the stand which comes with it.
- In the event that the water heater is overfilled, boiling water might boil over.
- Do not use the water heater outdoors.
- The device is not to be used by persons who have limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack experience and knowledge without excepting children unless observance and instructions relating to usage of the device are given by a person who is responsible for their safety.
- In order to make sure that they do not play with the device, children must be observed closely.

Before first usage
If you are using the water heater for the first time, it is recommended that top it off with water and boil twice, then empty and clean it before usage.
WARNING: There is an automatic heating system in your device. It will begin heating the moment you plug it. Therefore, do not plug the device without filling it with water.
Usage
- To fill the water heater with water remove the heater from the base, open its cap and fill desired amount of water into the heater. Always fill the heater between the minimum (0,5L) and maximum (1,7L) marks. If you add too little water, the heater will turn off without boiling.
NOTE: Do not fill the heater with water over the maximum level, because in this case, water might pour out from the opening of heater while boiling. Before plugging in the device, make sure that it is sealed properly.

Place the heater on the base.

Plug it in. The moment you plug in, your device will start heating. Press the on/off button under the handle. Then start boiling water. When water is boiled the knob will pop and proceed to heating function. During the boiling process, you can switch the device to a water heating function by pressing the on/off button at any time.
NOTE: Make sure that there is anything which blocks the on/off button and the cap is sealed properly. In a case that on/off button is jammed or the cap is left open, the heater will not turn off.
- Discharge water by lifting the water heater from the base.
NOTE: Since boiling water may cause burn, be careful when discharging water from your heater and also do not open the cap when the water is hot.
- The heater will not boil without the on/off button is switched downwards. You may store your water heater on the base by unplugging it when unused.
NOTE: When the heater is unused, make sure that the power supply is off.
Dry boiling protection
In the event that you accidentally operate the water heater without adding any water, dry boiling protection will turn off the water heater. If this is the case, fill the water heater with cold water and wait for the heater to warm up before you perform a boiling operation again.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always unplug the device before cleaning.
Never immerse the heater or its cable into water or do not allow that these parts contact moisture.
Cleaning of mineral residues
Mineral residues in tap water may cause discoloration inside the heater. In order to remove this accumulation, use a Liquid Descaling Agent which is easy to use and non-poisonous cleanser.
Alternatively:
- Pour a certain scale of vinegar to the heater, fill the rest with water and keep it waiting overnight. Do not boil anything.
- Discharge the mixture from the heater. Remaining stains might be removed by rubbing with a wet towel; fill the heater with water, boil and discharge the water. Repeat this process and the heater will be ready for use.
Outside of the heater can be wiped with a wet tower.
Cleaning outside of the body
Wipe outside of the body with a firm and wet towel, never use a poisonous cleanser.
Cleaning the filter
Do not forget to clean the filter periodically with a firm and wet towel. Filter can only be removed by pulling for an easier cleaning. In order to attach it to the device, place the filter onto the backing notch.
CAUTION:
Do not use chemical, steel, wood or abrasive agents to clean the outside of the water heater.
While boiling water, cap of the heater or the glass jug must be placed on the heater.
While boiling water or keeping water warm, in order to avoid steam burn, do not keep the teapot handle over the opening of the heater.
Housing
Power cable might be rolled up in the housing section below the heater when the device is unused or stored.
