USER MANUAL

Thanks for purchasing INNOLIVING mosquito zapper, a safe and efficient way to eliminate mosquitoes and other annoying insects. This device doesn't use chemical products dangerous for humans and for environment.

Visual incentives - such as colour contrasts, blue light and ultraviolet light - are recognized as strong attractions for night-time insects. Mosquitoes and several other annoying insects are attracted by the special light of the INNOLIVING lantern and remain electrocuted at the slightest contact with the electrified grid.

The lamp has a modern design with high efficiency and safety technologies. The product is equipped with ultra-violet light completely harmless to humans and animals. The external grid protects against accidentally touching the grill. There are no chemicals, no vapours, no smells, no spray or pollutants. The lamp is ideal for indoor use.

WARNINGS AND IMPORTANT SAFETY NORMS

• Keep all packing material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc..) out of reach of the children, since they are potential sources of danger and must be disposed of as provided by law.
  • After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized service centre.
  • The device shall be used indoors only.
• The water jet of a garden pipe on the device may result in an electric shock.
• Not suitable for use inside barns, stables or similar.
• Never expose the device to rain, do not forget it outdoors, and do not expose it to very dirty environments.
• The device shall not be used in dusty areas or with flammable or explosive vapours.
• Keep out of reach of children (≥2.0 m).
• This product can be used by children over 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if under supervision or

if they have received instructions regarding the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved.

• Cleaning and maintenance operation should not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not remove any fixed internal parts to try to repair the product. In case of failure or malfunction of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. If the device needs to be repaired, contact the authorized after sale centre.
• If the plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the authorized after sale centre in order to prevent any risk.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Do not pull the power cable to lift, carry or remove the plug from the socket.
  • Make sure that the electric cable does not get trapped or tangled.
• Check the state of the electric cable. Damaged or knotted cables increase the risk of electric shock.
• Never touch the product with damp hands or feet.
• Do not use the device if it is wet or shows signs of moisture.
• Avoid the plug or cable touching hot surfaces.
  • Always make sure to leave enough space around the unit to ensure a correct air circulation.
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data shown on the rating label correspond to those of the local power supply. The rating label is located on the

device itself.

- When using extension cords, keep the power outlet out of reach of moisture and avoid damage to the cable.

- Do not cover the unit as this could create danger of overheating.

- Do not insert any objects in the opening of the appliance.

- Use the appliance only for the use indicated in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.

- The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damage caused by improper or faulty use of the appliance.

- Do not use the appliance in bathroom or in the immediate surroundings of showers, bath-tubs or swimming pools.

- Do not try to reach the product if it has fallen into water. In this case disconnect the switch of main power and remove the plug from the socket.

- Do not use the appliance near curtains, sofas or other flammable materials.

- Do not apply timer or similar devices to the product that can determine the operating time automatically; there is a risk of fire if the product is covered or positioned incorrectly.

- Do not disassemble the product or touch internal components when the unit is powered, which may result in electric shock.

- Disconnect the appliance before cleaning it. Use a suitable brush to clean the high voltage grid, clean the insect collection tray every week.

- The product is intended for internal domestic use only.

- Not suitable for use in barns, stables and similar places.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HOW IT WORKS

Visual incentives - such as colour contrasts, blue light and ultraviolet light - are recognized as strong attractions for night-time insects. Mosquitoes and several other annoying insects are attracted by the special light of the INNOLIVING lantern and remain electrocuted at the slightest contact with the electrified grid.

To optimise its attractive effectiveness, the device shall be used in poor-lighted environments. Check that the mains voltage data shown on the rating label correspond to those of the local power supply and place the mosquito electric zapper:

• resting on shelves, furniture or other flat and well-stable surfaces
• hanging by the supplied chain, which must be attached laterally to the product using the appropriate hooks.

Regardless of the chosen placement keep the device out of the reach of children and pets. Never expose the devise to rain, and do not connect it to the mains when wet.

Insert the plug into the electrical outlet.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before proceed with any maintenance operation, it is necessary to disconnect the device from the mains. Remove the container placed on the bottom of the appliance and remove any insect residues. Clean the electrified grill and all the other parts of the appliance, using a dry brush. Perform cleaning operation every week, or more often if the electrified grid is completely covered by insects.

WARNING: Lamp replacement is dangerous and complicated operation, it must not be carried out by the user but only and exclusively by the manufacturer or authorized personenel.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE WATER FOR CLEANING OPERATION AND NEVER IMMERSE THE PRODUCT IN WATER.

INFORMATION TO USERS according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of March 14, 2014 "2012/19/ UE Implementation of the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)" The crossed-out dustbin symbol indicates that the product at the end of its life must be collected separately from other waste.

The user should, therefore, take the equipment with the essential components at the end of its useful life to the separate collection center of electronic and 14 electrical waste, or return it to the retailer when purchasing new equipment of equivalent type, in ratio of one to one, or one to zero for devices with larger side less than 25 CM. The separate collection for the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal contributes to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and human health and promotes recycling of the materials. Improper disposal of the product by the user entails the application of administrative sanctions according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March 2014.
