How do I dock my iPod or iPhone?

Connect your iPod or iPhone to the dock connector on the speaker. Use the included magnetic rubber spacers to adjust the depth for a secure fit. The docked device will charge when the speaker is plugged into AC power.

How do I switch between audio sources?

Press the POWER/SOURCE button to toggle between iPod mode (green LED) and Line In mode (orange LED). You can also use the ISP391 app to select the source.

How do I download the ISP391 app?

Dock your iPod or iPhone and a prompt will appear to download the app automatically. Alternatively, search for 'ISP391' in the App Store and download it manually.

How do I set the alarm?

Open the ISP391 app and go to the Alarm section. You can add multiple alarms and choose to wake to iPod music, nature sounds, or a buzzer. The clock syncs automatically with your device.

Can I play videos from the docked device on a TV?

Yes, connect the composite video output (RCA) to your TV. Set the TV OUT settings on your iPod to OK. Note: Videos played through the ISP391 app cannot be output to a TV.

How do I clean the docking station?

Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use any liquid cleaners, abrasives, or solvents as they may damage the surface.

What should I do if there is no sound?

Ensure the speaker is powered on and the correct source is selected (iPod or Line In). Check volume levels on both the speaker and your device. If using Line In, make sure the 3.5mm cable is securely connected.

Can I use the speaker without the app?

Yes, you can play music directly from a docked iPod/iPhone or from an external audio source via the 3.5mm input. The app provides additional features like alarms and weather.

Is the speaker compatible with all iPhone models?

It is designed for iPod and iPhone models with a 30-pin connector. For newer devices with Lightning, an adapter may be needed (not included). The dock may not physically fit all cases.

What does the LED indicator mean?

Docking an iPod or iPhone

1. Use the included magnetic rubber spacers as needed to adjust the depth for your iPod or iPhone.
2. Connect the iPod or iPhone to the DOCK FOR iPod AND iPhone.
3. When the speaker is plugged in, using AC power, the docked iPod or iPhone will charge.

Playing a Docked iPod or iPhone

1. Follow the instructions for Docking an iPod or iPhone.
2. Press the POWER/SOURCE button to switch to iPod mode or use the ISP391 app from the iTunes App Store to adjust the speaker's source.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the docked iPod or iPhone to begin playing the docked iPod or iPhone.

Rotating Dock

The dock will rotate 90^ to the right or left.

App Introduction

Automatically Downloading the App

1. Follow the instructions for Docking an iPod or iPhone.
2. Once the iPod or iPhone is docked a screen will appear prompting you to download the ISP391 app from the App Store.
3. Press Yes to automatically download the ISP391 app.

Manually Downloading the App

1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPod touch.
2. Search for ISP391.
3. Download the App.

ISP391 app

CLOCK

The clock will automatically sync with the time on the iPod or iPhone, so there's no need to set it.

ALARM

Add as many alarms as you like. You can set them to wake to iPod music, Nature Sounds, or Buzzer.

WEATHER

Type in your location in the settings and view your current weather conditions along with the time on the home page of the app.

PHOTO SLIDE SHOW

Select photos that are already on your iPod or iPhone and play a slideshow with your music in the background.

SOURCES

When docked with the App-enhanced Speaker System (ISP391B) you can use the app to select the source for the Speaker System.

Choose iPod to play music directly from your iPod or iPhone, Video to view loaded MP4 videos through the App, or Line In to play music from an audio source connected to the 3.5mm audio input.

Video and Photo Slideshow

Adding a Video to the App

1. Connect your iPod or iPhone to your computer.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Select your connected iPod or iPhone in the iTunes sidebar menu.
4. Click the apps tab to view the apps being synced to your connected iPod or iPhone.
5. Select the ISP391 app and click the ADD button.
6. Add an MP4 video to the app.
7. The added video can now be accessed and played from the iPod or iPhone through the ISP391 app.

Playing a Slideshow using the App

1. Select Slideshow in the ISP391 app.
2. Press Select Photos.
3. Press the + button to add a photo to the app.

Repeat this step until all the desired photos have been added to the app.

1. Press the individual photos to add them to the slideshow.

A check mark will appear next to the photos that have been added to the slideshow.

1. Press the Slideshow button, then press the Start button to begin playing the photo slideshow.

3.5mm Audio Input and Composite Video Output

Using the 3.5mm Audio Input

Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not included)

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5MM AUDIO INPUT on the speaker and an audio output on an MP3 player or other audio source.
2. Press the POWER/SOURCE button to switch to Line In mode.
3. Use the native controls on the connected MP3 player or other audio source to play and control audio played through the speaker.

Using the Composite Video Output

Requires an RCA composite video cable (not included)

1. Connect the RCA composite video cable to the COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT on the speaker and a composite video input on a television.
2. Adjust the TV OUT settings on the docked iPod to OK.
3. Videos played from the docked iPod or iPhone will now play on the connected television.

Videos played from the ISP391 app cannot be output to a connected television.
