OPERATION

Before first use

There might be oil and other residues left in the toaster and its heating elements from the manufacturing process of the product. This may lead to odour at the first use. This is normal and will disappear after some use. Before you start toasting bread for the first time, we recommend that you run the toaster without any bread for one time. Then let the toaster cool down completely before you start using it with bread.

Using your toaster

  1. Place bread inside the toasting slots.
  2. Connect the power cable to an electrical outlet.
  3. Adjust the knob to a desired setting. There are seven settings to choose from. The lowest (1) is for light toasted bread and the highest (7) is for dark toasted bread.

Note: The toasting colour for one slice is darker than for two slices in the same setting. If toasting continuously, the colour of the last toasted bread will appear a bit darker than the bread that was toasted before.

  1. Press the toasting lever until it locks and the toaster starts toasting.

Note: The toasting lever can only be locked when the appliance is connected to an electrical outlet.

  1. When the bread is done, the lever will automatically slide up. You may manually raise the lever a little bit more to easy remove the bread slices without burn oneself.

Note: You may also observe the toasting colour during the toasting. If you are satisfied with the colour, you may press the stop button to stop the toasting. Never lift the appliance toasting lever to stop the toasting.
