What speed should I use for apples?
Use speed 2 for apples. The manual recommends speed 2 for apples, pears, carrots, cucumbers, pineapple, and celery. Use speed 1 for grapes and tomatoes.
Can I juice whole fruits without cutting them?
Yes, thanks to the Direct Fruit System, fruits up to 74.5 mm in diameter can be inserted whole. For larger fruits, cut them into pieces.
How do I clean the sieve?
Clean the sieve immediately after use. Use the provided brush to gently remove pulp. All removable parts are dishwasher safe. Avoid using scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
What should I do if the juice flow slows down?
This usually means the sieve is blocked. Switch off the appliance, unplug it, and clean the feed tube and sieve thoroughly. Also empty the pulp collector if full.
Is the juicer safe to use?
Yes, it has a safety clamp that must be locked for operation. Opening the clamp stops the motor immediately. Always wait for the sieve to stop completely before removing the cover.
Can I juice bananas or avocados?
The manual states that it is difficult to extract juice from bananas, avocados, blackberries, figs, aubergines, and strawberries. These fruits are not recommended.
How do I store the power cord?
The appliance has a cord storage feature. You can adjust the length of the cord by winding part of it under the base (see Fig. 8 in the manual).
What if the appliance does not start?
Check that the plug is inserted correctly and the control switch is set to speed 1 or 2. Ensure the cover is properly secured with the safety clamp. If it still doesn't work, contact an Approved Service Centre.

USEFULADVICE

  • Wash the fruits carefully before stoning.
  • You do not need to remove the skin or peel. You only need to peel fruits with thick (and bitter) skin: citrus fruits, pineapple (remove the stalk).
  • Certain types of apples, pears, tomatoes, etc. will fit in the feed tube whole, thanks to the "Direct Fruit System" (74.5 mm maximum diameter), so choose the appropriate size of fruits or vegetables.
  • It is difficult to extract juice from bananas, avocados, blackberries, figs, aubergines and strawberries.
  • The appliance should not be used for sugar cane and excessively hard or fibrous fruits.
  • Choose fresh, ripe fruits and vegetables, they will yield more juice. This appliance is

suitable for such fruits as apples, pears, oranges, grapes, pomegranates and pineapple; for vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroot and celery.

  • If you juice over-ripe fruit, the sieve will be blocked more quickly.
  • Important: All juice must be consumed immediately. On contact with air, the juice quickly oxidises which can change the taste, colour and the nutritional value. Apple and pear juices quickly turn brown. Add a few drops of lemon juice to slow this discoloration.
