- Read all operating and safety instructions carefully before use and save for future use.
- The product must only be connected to a correctly earthed power point. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Always check before using the product that it is correctly assembled and undamaged. Check the power cord for damage at regular intervals. Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged.
- When in use the product should be placed on a level, heat resistant and splashproof surface that cannot be damaged by grease or liquid.
- Do not place the product near a wall or in a corner, or near flammable materials.
- Food with a high content of fat can ignite.
• Always fill the grill pan with
water before starting the product. The water cools the grill pan, reduces smoking, and simplifies cleaning.
- The water level should be between the Min 0.4L and Max 1L markings.
- The water level should always be over the Min 0.4L marking. Refill with water in good time. Make sure that no water comes into contact with the heating element.
- Always check before use that the heating element is correctly fitted and securely locked. Do not plug in the plug until the pan is filled with water.
- Never leave the product unattended when switched on. Do not allow children or pets to come near the product.
- Never use charcoal or other solid fuel in the product.
- The surfaces on the product get hot when in use – risk of burn injuries. The surfaces stay hot even after the heating element is switched
off. Do not touch the product until it has cooled.
- Do not expose the heating element, power cord or plug to water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.
- Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Pull out the plug before cleaning and/or maintenance, if it malfunctions, and when the product is not in use.
- If a cord winder is used pull out the full length of cord, otherwise there is a risk of power loss and/or overheating.
- Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until it has completely cooled before moving, transport and/or storage. Pour out any residual water after use.
- Never store the product outdoors or where it is very hot and/or humid.
- The manufacturer cannot accept liability for personal injury and/or material
damage resulting from improper use or failure to follow these instructions.
- The product is only intended for household use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
- The product must only be repaired by a certified service centre. Failure to carry out repairs correctly can result in the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and/or material damage.
- Contact the retailer if the product is damaged, or not working properly. Do not dismantle the product or attempt to modify, or repair it.
- A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe use.
- For indoor use only.
- Do not expose the heating element, control unit, power cord or plug to water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.

- This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
- Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- The product is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.
- The product gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – risk of burn injuries.

Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug. Do not touch the power cord or the plug with wet hands.

Run the power cord to prevent it from being walked on or that it constitutes a tripping hazard, and so that it cannot be unplugged by mistake.
- The product must be connected to the mains with a residual current device of max 30 mA. Contact an authorised electrician for further information.
- Check extension cords at regular intervals, and replace them if they are damaged. Only connect to an earthed power point with a 10 A fuse.
WARNING!
- Never use charcoal or other solid fuel together with the product.
- Never use aluminium foil together with the product.
- Never cover the grill rack with aluminium foil, aluminium tins or other heat resistant material, this can cause the product to overheat and can result in serious material damage.

ASSEMBLY
GRILL
- Fit the four plastic feet on the casing.

Insert the straight metal tube (6) through the two holes in the zinc pan (4) and casing (1) on two sides.

Fasten the zinc pan (4) at the front holes in the casing (by the junction box) with the M4 (5) nuts and the long screws.
- Put the two rubber coated connections to the left and right of the straight metal tube.

- Put the heating element on the zinc pan and check that the hole underneath engages with the metal hook.

- Fit the grill rack on top.

STAND
- Put part A1 in part A2 as shown in the above diagram.
- Put a M5 screw through part A3, the parts fitted in step 1 and part A4, and lock with the A5 nut.
- Fit the other three legs in the same way.
- Fit the small rack A8 and place the grill over the stand.

USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Clear the grill rack and accessories.
- Fill the pan with water to the Max 1L marking.
NOTE:
• Make sure that no water comes into contact with the heating element.
- The first time the electric grill is used it may smoke and smell a little. This is completely normal and soon stops.
HOW TO USE
- Plug the plug into a suitable power point.
- Turn the temperature control to Max. The status light goes on the heating element is switched on.
- Wait about five minutes before adding food.
- It takes about five to ten minutes for the heating element to reach the grilling temperature. Adjust the temperature with the temperature control during the grilling and/or move the grill rack up or down.
- To keep warm, set the temperature control to low. The heating element switches on and off to keep the food warm.
- The water in the grill pan evaporates during use. Refill with water when necessary, so that the level is between the Min 0.4L and Max 1L. markings.
- After use, turn the temperature control to 0 and pull out the plug.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Clean the electric grill after use.
- Pull out the plug and wait until the electric grill has cooled before cleaning.
- Pour out any residual water before cleaning.
- Only clean the heating element with a dry cloth.
- Wash the grill rack and grill pan with hot water and washing-up liquid and wipe dry.
NOTE:
Do not use abrasive detergent, or utensils that can scratch the surface of the grill rack or grill pan.
STORAGE
Store the electric grill dry and indoors when not in use.
