No, the ADHC 3.0 is a reverse camera designed for live display on an AHD-compatible monitor. It does not record any video.

Can I use this camera as a front view camera?

Yes, for models with serial numbers outside 200202AHDC3000001-200202AHDC3000500, you can cut the wire (for AHDC-2.0) or reconnect a wire (for AHDC-3.0) to flip the image and remove parking lines for front view use.

What is the viewing angle of the ADHC 3.0?

It has a 160° horizontal, 140° vertical, and 170° diagonal field of view, providing a wide perspective for reversing.

Is this camera waterproof?

Yes, it has an IP68 protection grade, meaning it is dust-tight and can withstand continuous immersion in water. However, avoid high-pressure car washes.

What power supply does the ADHC 3.0 need?

It operates on DC 12V, with a voltage range of 9-16V. The red wire should be connected to the reverse light power.

Why is my monitor not showing the camera image?

First, ensure your display supports AHD camera input. Then check all connections: the black wire must be grounded, red wire connected to reverse light power, and video cable secure. If using as front camera, check the wire cut/reconnection. Restart the monitor if needed.

Can I install this camera on any vehicle?

Yes, but you must choose a mounting location that does not obstruct the driver's view or vehicle components. Drill with care to avoid damage. Consult an authorized Blaupunkt dealer if unsure.

What is the difference between ADHC 2.0 and ADHC 3.0?

The ADHC 3.0 has a wider horizontal view (160° vs 145°), wider vertical view (140° vs 125°), and a 5-glass lens compared to 4 glasses in the 2.0. Other specs are similar.

Does the camera have parking guidelines?

Yes, when used as a reverse camera, it displays parking lines. For front camera use, the parking line wire can be cut (AHDC-2.0) or reconnected (AHDC-3.0) to remove them.

Is this product sold in the USA or Canada?
