How do I start the blender?

Place the jug with the blade onto the motor unit, ensuring it locks in place (the safety switch prevents operation if not correctly positioned). Connect to power, press the ON/OFF button (lights up), then press LOW HIGH or PULSE to start blending. To stop, press ON/OFF.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No. Do not mix or process hot liquids in the appliance. The pressure inside the jug can damage it and cause serious injury. Always let ingredients cool before blending.

How do I clean the blades?

The blades (NutriBlade) are not dishwasher safe. Clean them by hand with warm water and mild detergent. Do not remove the gaskets during cleaning, as this may cause leaks. Dry thoroughly.

What should I do if the motor stops?

If the motor stops by itself and cannot be restarted, disconnect the appliance from the power mains and let it cool down for at least one hour before using again. This is a safety feature to prevent overheating.

Can I wash the jug in the dishwasher?

Yes, the jugs (blending jug and to-go jug) can be washed in the upper dishwasher basket at temperatures lower than 80°C. Do not wash the blades or motor unit in the dishwasher.

Is the jug BPA-free?

Yes, the jugs are made from Tritan material, which is BPA-free and safe for food contact.

Can I use the blender to crush ice?

The blender can handle ice in small quantities when combined with enough liquid. Use the PULSE function for short bursts. Avoid blending ice alone or with too little liquid, as it may damage the blades.

What is the maximum capacity?

Do not fill the jug beyond the MAX marking. The approximate maximum capacity is 600 ml for both the blending jug and the to-go jug. Overfilling may cause leakage or motor strain.

How should I store the blender?

After cleaning, ensure all parts are dry. Store the motor unit in a dry place. Assemble the jug with the lid to keep dust out. Do not store with the blade attached if not in use for a long time.

Pomembno:

Pritiskom na taster LOW HIGH, dugme zasvetli, a aparat se pokrene u rad na najnižoj brzini. Ponovnim pritiskom na taster LOW HIGH povećavate brzinu obrtaja sečiva.

Important:

Danger

Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, and do not rinse it under running water, e.g. under a tap.

Warning

Before connecting the appliance to the power mains, make sure the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance matches the voltage of the power mains in your home.

Do not use the appliances, of the plug, power cord, or any other component is damaged.

If the power cord is damaged, it may only be replaced by Gorenje, Gorenje's authorized service and repair centre, or an adequately trained professional.

The appliance should not be used by children or persons with impaired physical or psychological skills, or persons with lacking experience and knowledge, unless such persons are supervised or advised by a person responsible for their safety.

Do not let the children play with the appliance. Do not leave the appliance to operate unattended.

Never mix carbonated beverages in the appliance. The pressure inside the jug can damage it and cause serious injury.

Do not mix or process hot liquids in the appliance.

If you notice any signs of damage on the appliance, discontinue its use and contact the nearest Gorenje authorized service and repair centre. Do not put your hands or accessories near the blades.

Do not clean with water hotter than 80 °C.

Attention: The appliance is intended solely for personal household use.

Do not use attachments or spare parts by other manufacturers unless they are expressly recommended by Gorenje. In case of use of such attachments or accessories, the warranty shall be void.

Before switching on the appliance, make sure all components are correctly installed.

Make sure the motor unit is dry during appliance operation.

When there is water in the jug, the appliance should not be operated for longer than 1 minute.

If the motor stops by it self and can not be restated, disconnect the appliance from power mains and let it cool down before using it again (at least one hour).

The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.

Attention: some seeds and stones may release cyanides in the body when ingested. Before use, always remove the seeds and stones of apples, plums, peaches, cherries, and apricots!

Preparing the appliance for use:

1. Remove the packaging.

2. Clean the appliance as instructed in the section "Cleaning".

Using the appliance:

Before juicing, thoroughly wash all ingredients. Cut the ingredients into smaller chunks. Remove any hard seeds or stones.

Add the ingredients and liquid of your choice into the blending jug (2) or jug to-go (6), up to the MAX marking.

Attach the NutriBlade blade (2) by screwing it onto the jug. Make sure the blade is firmly attached/screwed on.

Place the jug with the blade onto the motor unit. There is a safety switch on the motor unit. If the jug is not correctly positioned on the motor unit, the appliance will not operate.

Connect the appliance to the power mains.

Press the ON/OFF Button. Button will light up. The appliance is ready for use.

When you press the LOW HIGH button, the button will light up and the appliance will start operating at low speed. Press the LOW HIGH switch again to increase the rotation speed.

Switch off the rotation by pressing the ON/OFF button.

When you press the PULSE button, the button will light up and the appliance will operate at high speed for 2 seconds.

When mixing ingredients with liquid, maximum continuous operating time is 1 minute. After one minute, switch off the appliance and wait for 1 minute to let it cool down. Such 1-minute cycle can be repeated up to three times in a row. Then, wait for 3 minutes for the appliance to cool down.

After use, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power plug.

Only handle the appliance with dry hands.

Tips:

If there are too many ingredients in the jug and you have not added enough liquid, the mixture may be too dense. In such case, the ingredients at the top of the jug cannot sink to the blades at the bottom. In such case, remove the jug with the blade attached from the motor unit and shake it vigorously. Then, replace the jug with the blade onto the motor unit.

Cleaning:

Do not clean the appliance with scouring pads, caustic or corrosive cleaners or aggressive liquids like alcohol, gasoline, or acetone. Appliance is easier to clean if it is cleaned immediately after use.

Disassemble the appliance by observing the steps for assembly in the opposite order.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water or wash it under a tap. Only use a damp cloth to clean it.

The blades are not dishwasher-safe. Use warm water and detergent for cleaning. Do not remove the gaskets during cleaning. Removing the gasket can lead to damage and leaks.

The jugs can be washed in the upper dishwasher basket at lower temperatures (lower than 80 °C).

Do not clean with metal cleaning accessories as these may damage the appliance.

Environment:

After the expiry of its useful life, do not discard the appliance with common household waste. Take is to an authorized recycling centre. This will help preserve the environment.
